Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0/day in the week to Aug 4 → 0/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

The Eternal Castle [REMASTERED] is a fascinating indie title that stands out by presenting itself as a restored version of a long-lost game from the late 1980s. Developed by Leonard Menchiari, Daniele Vicinanzo, and Giulio Perrone, and published by Leonard Menchiari together with TFL Studios, the game embraces a unique concept that immediately captures attention. Rather than simply borrowing retro aesthetics, it creates the illusion of an alternate gaming history, inviting players into a world that feels like a forgotten relic unearthed decades later. This creative premise becomes one of the game's greatest strengths, giving it a distinct identity among countless retro-inspired releases. Set in a grim future where Earth has been devastated by war, environmental decline, and technological collapse, the story follows a lone scavenger returning to the ruined planet in search of a missing ally. The narrative unfolds gradually through exploration, environmental clues, and subtle storytelling rather than lengthy conversations or cutscenes. This approach encourages players to absorb details from the world around them and piece together the broader picture themselves. The result is a mysterious and engaging adventure that rewards curiosity and immersion. The visual presentation is undoubtedly the game's most memorable feature. The developers use a limited color palette and low-resolution aesthetic that resembles classic CGA-era graphics, yet the execution is surprisingly sophisticated. Fluid animations, detailed backgrounds, and modern lighting techniques combine to create scenes that feel both nostalgic and fresh. Every environment appears carefully crafted to support the illusion of a forgotten masterpiece from gaming's early years. The contrast between primitive visuals and modern artistic design creates a striking look that remains memorable long after the game is finished. Gameplay draws inspiration from cinematic platformers that emphasize realism and deliberate movement. Players must carefully navigate dangerous environments, solve environmental challenges, and survive encounters with hostile creatures and enemies. Movement has weight and momentum, making every jump, climb, and dodge feel important. Combat is straightforward but effective, while stealth sequences and puzzle-solving elements provide additional variety. The game consistently introduces new situations and obstacles, preventing the experience from becoming repetitive despite its relatively concise length. Atmosphere plays a major role in the overall experience. The abandoned cities, industrial ruins, underground structures, and hostile wastelands create a constant sense of danger and loneliness. Sound design is used effectively to reinforce these emotions, relying on ambient noises, mechanical sounds, and carefully placed music rather than overwhelming the player with a constant soundtrack. This minimalist approach enhances the feeling of exploring a dying world and helps maintain tension throughout the journey. Level design is another area where the game excels. Each location feels distinct and offers unique visual themes and gameplay challenges. Exploration is rewarded with hidden details, alternate paths, and pieces of lore that deepen the player's understanding of the setting. Boss encounters and major set pieces provide memorable highlights, while the game's pacing ensures that new mechanics and ideas continue to appear at regular intervals. The adventure remains focused and rarely overstays its welcome. The game's commitment to old-school design can occasionally become a double-edged sword. Certain platforming sections demand precise timing, and the intentionally weighty controls may feel restrictive to players accustomed to modern action games. Some objectives can also appear vague, leading to moments of trial and error. However, these frustrations are largely consistent with the game's design philosophy and are unlikely to deter players who appreciate classic cinematic platformers. Ultimately, The Eternal Castle [REMASTERED] succeeds because it offers far more than simple nostalgia. It is a clever reimagining of gaming history that combines artistic ambition, atmospheric storytelling, and engaging platforming into a cohesive experience. Its distinctive visual style, immersive world, and commitment to its unusual concept make it one of the more memorable indie platformers available. While its retro-inspired mechanics may not appeal to every player, those who enjoy atmospheric adventures and experimental game design will find plenty to appreciate. Rating: 8/10

THE GAME IS BROKEN DO NOT BUY! As soon as the game booted up and I was taken to the tutorial area the character spawned in holding a rock. It never stopped holding that rock, thus soft locking the entire game. No matter what I did, I couldn't fix the issue. even uninstalling the whole game and installing it back changed nothing, it's a permanent persistent bug. It's a shame to see another promising title ruined by incompetent programming, but it is what it is.
What a blast! Incredible jump in the past. If you love Another World/Flashback go for it immediately! Beautiful art style and sound design, fantastic OST. The main game it's hard but fair, the Lost Tales mode (after end game) it's very hard, but still very good and add another few hours to the gameplay. Overall, a little masterpiece!
where has this been all my life, im an old school gamer and cga is my jam, it evokes so much nastalgia and id love to see more games use this color palette in such thoughtful, artistic ways, yes yes yes!!!!!
The eternal castle remastered use the Classic CGA style of graphics as is own advantage, creating a world so beautiful and yet so terrifying at the same time, the pixel art and the animation are so fluid and really beautiful creating some gorgeous scenery even with the cga limitation of 3 colour. The story even tho there is little to no text is pretty clear and some what understandable. Unfortunately not everything is perfect and there are some things that I didn't like that much: the platforming was fine but the controls seems somewhat 100% there and some jump was not registered, the combat was simple and yet some combat scene was impossible to see my character and or move it out of the way to understand what's going on and last thing the final boss was simple yes but c'mon the wait was too long 👀. Even tho is has some problems I do enjoy it, so I can recommend it to someone who like cinematic platformer like another world or oddworld.
The controls are absolute ass.
