Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0/day in the week to Aug 4 → 0/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 25 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 10 places towards #1, and the 2,413 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Reviews
the idea from 1987, brutal, futuristic, without shame of vulgar scenes, minimalist and unique style that really tells you a story as a whole or if you try to observe and guess; Amazing how so simplistic you can show something captivating and serious and conceived over 3 decades ago; The character's inertia sometimes gives you away but otherwise I think we need some more games like this
At that price it is a must. Exactly like an old-school game, you can end it in about 2 hours or less. Art direction and music are terrific and so the gameplay.

This game is an utter eye sore, and it's beautiful. Designed to feel like a remaster of a (corrupted) CGA game from the 80s, it brings back to life a retro experience that is really unique, not just because the limited graphics feel novel to modern eyes, but also because it creates a strange dichotomy where you both see the game world, and don't quite see the game world. Everything is recognizable, and at the same time, you never actually see the world like it truly is. This creates an air of mystique that wouldn't have been there if the game had detailed graphics, and engages your imagination. The game is a cinematic platformer, with all that it entails (clunky movement). It straddles the line between being a bit of a chore to play, and being properly challenging, and it manages not to cross that line. Overall, I'm strangely glad this game is "only" 4 hours long, so I don't have to look at its ugly face and suffer through the clunky controls, and also wish there was more of it, and would happily play a sequel. In conclusion, it's a unique game with a clear artistic vision that is well executed, and at only 4 hours of playtime, there's no reason not to give it a try.
The game looks really cool but has hard to read text at the start, and feels verry clunky to play due to its really low frame rate (its an intentional stylistic choice), theres also no modern optimisations like snapping or quick turning so every time you are walking to the left you have to stop dead in your tracks, move right and then jump to the ledge on top of you rather than just jumping whilst moving left and snapping to the ledge and moving forward, gameplays just slow and tedious and gunplay is simplistic yet overly difficult and quite frustrating. if you are into this sort of thing its probably a good game but it really wasnt for me and it all just feels too dated to be enjoyable.
Le animazioni sono di una finezza incredibile, le vibes alla Another World ci stanno tutte... E anche un po' di quella cripticità (non troppa dai) che non fa mai male. Anche solo per l'esperienza audiovisiva questo titolo andrebbe provato, ma anche la parte interattiva sa il fatto suo.
A very impressive game with a unique style. Gameplay mechanics are nothing special - it's similar to OG Prince of Persia or 1997's Oddworld: Abe’s Oddysee, but much simpler. The game is short enough for the simple mechanics not to be an issue, and the focus is clearly on its presentation, which it nails.
The eternal castle remastered use the Classic CGA style of graphics as is own advantage, creating a world so beautiful and yet so terrifying at the same time, the pixel art and the animation are so fluid and really beautiful creating some gorgeous scenery even with the cga limitation of 3 colour. The story even tho there is little to no text is pretty clear and some what understandable. Unfortunately not everything is perfect and there are some things that I didn't like that much: the platforming was fine but the controls seems somewhat 100% there and some jump was not registered, the combat was simple and yet some combat scene was impossible to see my character and or move it out of the way to understand what's going on and last thing the final boss was simple yes but c'mon the wait was too long 👀. Even tho is has some problems I do enjoy it, so I can recommend it to someone who like cinematic platformer like another world or oddworld.
