Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
14 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 5.43/day in the week to Jul 30 → 7.14/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 23 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 14 places towards #1, and the 2,420 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Add-ons
Each DLC is estimated with the same model as a game, then summed — a modeled figure, not reported DLC sales.

Build ids and update times come straight from Steam's PICS — the same source SteamDB reads. Patch history grows as we record new builds.

The game...is pretty good. One of if not the first to do its genre which is a plus when everything is copy and paste slop including games out of this company that came after. It has some DLC but for the most part its just a game, decent price tag, did its genre well enough to be considered fun, checks most of the boxes for being a decent product, the other thing that really drags it down is that DLC I mentioned as well as...and this being a bigger one...the infamous horse armor. So this game is known to be something of the start of DLC and microtransactions. Past that its got a couple bugs, namely paint brushes float and theres item dupeing glitches. But you'll not run into those unless you're really trying to so its not a huge deal. I noticed when I used a command to enter a building that required a key even after loading prior doing so the game got a bit more buggy and this one being a actual issue, Npcs would skip voice lines. All that being said I'd give it a thumbs up because the question is would I recommend the game not the company. Which for me is high praise as I hate everything media anymore.

14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Sep 7: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.

First video game to have a digitized consciousness of a human used as the base for the NPC AI. Strange enough, they decided to upload and use the mind of an autistic man. Negative review because Bethesda in their infinite wisdom decided to release TWO versions of the GOTY edition. The regular GOTY and the GOTY DELUXE edition. If you don't buy the deluxe then you are SOL and have to rebuy the whole game which is retarded. So if you plan on modding the game, buy the deluxe edition. (There are of course certain methods one may use to magically summon the necessary DLCs but I've spoken enough.) But seriously what is the point of only offering deluxe in a bundle when the consumer would be spending the same amount of money as if they had originally bought the deluxe if there was an offer to just pay for a 5 dollar upgrade to deluxe. Just further evidence whoever is in charge of publishing over there at Bethesda is genuinely retarded.

Loved Oblivion dearly - in my opinion it is the best Elder Scrolls game. Sure it is old af, but it has a certain unmatched charm and you can tell this one was made from passion. The soundtrack is gorgeus, the landscapes beautiful, gameplay fun and the storyline is awesome. However for a good few months the game has been bugging out for me. Especially the audio is flickering like crazy. No idea what caused it, since I could play it just fine. Reinstalling and verifying the files didn't fix the issue. Looked up a bunch of fix guides and still nothing worked, which sucks since the flickering audio is driving me nuts and makes the game unplayable for me. So it is a great game IF it works for ya.
First Elder Scrolls Game I've Played....Still One Of My Favorites!!
20 years on and the game is still insanely playable. i'm not going to pretend i was the biggest bethesda fan ever but i do not see this making a game like this ever again as a studio. there's nothing arcane here. people love their modded bethesda games but what's here is still ridiculously charming as is and great to play to this day.
Good game. It is kind of weird because all of the things Skyrim does well this game does poorly and everything this game does well Skyrim does poorly. Skyrim's main quest is terrible, this one's is great. Skyrim's side content is great, this one's is terrible. Oblivion's RPG mechanics are great, Skyrim's are terrible. Solid 7.9/10.
