Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,402 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.
About

"How terrible to think that such a bright and noble man is nearing his end. What will we do without our pillar?"
Estranged for a couple of years, a young man rushes back to his childhood home. Dismayed by the news of his father losing his sight and inching closer to his demise, Marius, a priest in training, suspends his long studies at the seminary to be close in his final days to the man who taught him dignity and stalwartness. Under the gloom of impending death, the oldest son of honorable Leon Rosenthal can’t conceive the encroaching events that his arrival will unfold, equally exhilarating and petrifying.

"I've met her. Lord, this was not the first impression I wanted to make!"
Play as Marius as he returns to his childhood home in an attempt to reconnect with his ailing father, stern mother and overwhelmed younger brother. Much to your surprise, your household now employs an alluring young maid, Irina, who charms you from the first sight. But your blossoming romance will soon be tested as a shocking death shakes the feeble balance of this noble family.

"You took my life away from me, tried to bury me in suffering. All that you gave and all that I was, you took away until I was nothing but a bitter shadow of my former self."
The Crimson Maid is an adventure game focused on dialogues, exploration and light puzzle solving. Speak to Irina and your family to discover how they feel, their deep desires and what they may be hiding. Rummage around the mansion and the surrounding estate for clues, optional puzzles, misplaced documents and insights into the family and its past. Embark on a journey of self discovery as Marius comes to terms with his choices, their consequences and the unexpected legacy of his lineage.

"Unintentional, you say? Yes, I suppose one could unintentionally sneak behind me naked, delighting in the view, then trying to get a peek from the side too."

Fantastic game, wasn't expecting it to be that good, I loved the setting/era so thats what made me try it, but it was great!
The story is rather dull, I was hoping for more of a mystery thriller than I got. It is a glorified visual novel at this point where you pick things up and just automatically use them. (Please note that I do love visual novels but I expected more of this game from the description). The interactive story element feels... very linear. It feels like you cannot make a poor choice on your first try unless you try purposefully. Unlike other games that are narrative driven such as Until Dawn or even Tales from the Borderlands feels more like I am impacting the story than this game. The puzzles are rather easy, but the annoying ones were the boxes you have to move and click. Imagine a chest with toggles on the side, top and bottom. The severely annoying and tedious thing is you don't click and hold to rotate like one would think. No you rotate the object with your mouse and have to click as well. So you have to hover your mouse over where you click and it is sensitive, causing me to miss click several times and having to start over. It honestly feels like... perhaps puzzles are not their thing, which is fine, but more research on their part is needed to make them less tedious and more a seamless and enjoyable part of the game. While not expected, I feel sticking to coded puzzles with simple locks or pictures would have been more in their wheelhouse. I also need to pay more attention to games that use AI, so my disappointment that they used AI instead of employing actual artists was my mistake, but no less disappointing. The settings are very paltry as well, no way to get it to fit my screen resolution and there is a lot of screen tearing throughout. Overall I would not recommend this game. If you would like a mysterious game there are plenty out there that would fit the bill. Honestly this feels like a hentai game without the hentai and even those tend to have a more enticing storyline. I completed the game just in hopes that I could maybe find some joy in completing it. I did not. 2/10 for the stained glass and the ending not being exactly what I thought but severely similar, the stained glass was pretty but now that I think about it may have been AI generated which would be rather pathetic if you think about how a game is largely based on visuals assumedly created by an artist. Painting over a drawing does not make it yours suddenly, so painting over an AI gen does not make it real art or yours. If you are curious and you *must* have it then get it on a really good sale, otherwise I would just look up the story for curiousity sake.
Good
Intriguing premise.
The atmosphere is great, the puzzles are fun and the whole game looks and sounds really nice. I personally would have preferred full voice acting, but it didn’t ruin the experience for me.
I am trying to like this game, I usually don't like these types of games but i wanted to give it a try, its just one puzzle so far that I have had problems with, that I finally figured out, but i got so frustrated with it, I tried to get a refund but apparently I went over the 2 hour limit when my playtime clearly said 90 minutes so that was not correct and also i didn't realize that i bought it almost a month ago, so I guess I'm stuck with it and at a lost of $14
♥ Slow paced game ♥ Good before bedtime or breakfast time ♥ recomend if you like to read dialog
