Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0.43/day in the week to Aug 25 → 0.29/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,402 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

I enjoyed the game, it's a fun, addictive twist on the classic story with clever clicking mechanics. That said, it could be much bigger, covering more than just Edmond's imprisonment to include key villains like Fernand, Danglars, and Villefort, plus making Jacopo a proper ally instead of a rat. 7/10

Really really good. definitely have to read the novel now.
Nice, easy, simple gameplay. Chill game with very very funny writing.
This game opened my eyes to something I never thought I would experience. Being French.
The Count of Monte Clicker is worth playing for the hilarious riot that are the first three acts (out of four).
Neat, hilarious,

ever so slightly fumbles at the last act
The last, fourth act is absolutely decent, puts a neat bow on everything, but it lacks the absolute hilarity of dialogue and ambience of the first two acts, and the new mechanics lack the sheer novelty. Honestly, it almost feels like the developer started TCoMC with the intent of adapting the entire The Count of Monte Cristo novel, blazed through the finished game's first three acts, realised the full adaptation would take enormous time and effort (
or that it was harder to write such great dialogue with Abbe Faria dead
), and rejiggered act four so the game could end at a satisfying spot, plot-wise. I'm certainly glad he did, but I'm also ever so wistful about what could have been.
In conclusion,
I really hope Adam Travers will make another game that's as hilarious as this one.
Surprisingly deep lore and awesome gameplay. I would definitely recommend this game if you are a fan of this genre. One of the better ones out there.
A game with a unique story/level design combo. Highly recommended!
Absolute cinema
I loved it, but then again, the story the game was based upon taught me a lot about letting go of past wrongs instead of steeping in the anger and betrayal.
