This game is almost completely unplayable. Due to lag and graphics problems, it is incredibly difficult to keep any character alive because by the time the quick time is on the screen, the event has actually ended in the game. I have adjusted my settings for longer than I have actually played this game. It is an interesting concept, and the first chapter ran wonderfully. But once you arrive back at the mill in 1980, it becomes unplayable. I have played past that and it genuinely does not get better. Anytime you are close to a door or turning a corner, it lags out like crazy. And don't even get me started on if there is another character nearby. I adore story built games and I don't require constant action, but when the few actions I can complete are met with lags and glitches, it isn't enjoyable. I love most of Supermassive games games, but this was genuinely so disappointing to play.

Игра хрень. Сюжет - бред сумасшедшего, который даже не пытаются адекватно прояснить. Какой то лорный бэкграунд тоже отсутствует, даже в виде второстепенных записей и заметок, которые можно было бы найти и почитать при желании. Может для фанатов дбд, которые шарят, сойдет, но вряд ли игру выпускали только для них. Большинство персонажей дохнут просто потому что убогий сценарий, даже не дают нажать какие то QTE, чтобы спасти. И вишенка на тортике - оптимизация судя по всему тоже хрень, потому что на достаточно мощном ПК некоторые катсцены умудряются чуть подлагивать. Вывод: если и покупать игру, то по очень большой скидке, и то трижды подумать.
It's good. Nothing close to an asymetric multiplayer game like DbD, but like another Dark Pictures horror adventure game - but with the Entity, the fog, and easter eggs or cameos of the DbD universe, etc. I am enjoying this so far.

Очень обидно: история крутая, а смотреть кат‑сцены — настоящая боль. Звук идёт отдельно от картинки, будто смотришь видео с рассинхроном, плюс сами сцены тормозят так, что превращаются в слайд‑шоу. Из‑за этого важные моменты воспринимаются совсем не так, как задумывалось. Если починят синхронизацию и оптимизацию, будет топ, а так даже до середины не дошли из-за этого казуса
I will put it as recommend simply because I am having fun laughing at the silly DbD references, cringy dialouges, and wacky facial animations that this game has at times, which makes it worth it for me personally. I do have some complaints tho; ♥♥♥♥ is laggy as ♥♥♥♥ even with all settings to the lowest possible resolution. I was able to run Read Dead Redemption 2 and various RE games 10x smoother and lag free with higher resolutions than this game, so i don't know if this is an optimization issue or a PC issue (or both), but I do have to note this down as a negative. I will have my PC specs attached so you can compare it with your own PC to see if it is worth it for you to buy of if you'd probably also have the laggs of doom and dispair with almost every cutscene that makes the game freeze. This game is not really an amazing game, It's kind of feels like a fun-bad game to me tho which is why I am liking it, depite the annoying (and frustrating) laggs. PS: I can ONLY recommend this game when you get it on sale like I did, I truly do not think this is worth the full price that it is listed as, for that it feels way too laggy/stuttery, the dialouge way too cringy and just... unrealistic (some dialouges make you really think if the writers of this ever talked with another person because that is simply not how people interact, lol). If I could rate steam reviews as "depends" instead of "yes" or "no" recommend, i would chose that as an option, but alas I can only chose yes or no, so I am chosing yes for my own amusement with this game, but not because it is a good game.
Buen Juego
Slightly buggy. But once you get your settings right, any DBD fan would EAT this right up. It's hella fun! I'm going to go back through for some more story. And I rarely do that with games like this. But MAN, playing DBD will never be the same again. Absolute STEAL of a game for 6$.
