It's not a bad game, but it's not that good either. Get the whole collection and play the first 2 games. Then also this one to be somewhat disappointed at the mediocrity. Many puzzles have very convoluted solutions, some of which you may solve by accident without knowing what you're doing as the issue still didn't present itself. The humor also isn't as good as it used to be, though there are a few nice moments. There's also a game-crashing bug along the way; if you play this and encounter it, know that exiting and re-entering the room before triggering the cause of it solves it.

A delightful prequel! The Critter Chronicles offers more of the same humor and charm that made the original so fun. Love the new characters and clever puzzles—perfect for fans of point-and-click adventures!
