About

14th-century Europe. Bloody conflicts sweep the lands, and the Black Death comes for the survivors. It's a moment of weakness - and that's all they needed. Vampires seize their opportunity to walk out of the shadows and claim what they've been denied for centuries: freedom, and the power that comes with it. Other creatures of the night follow their lead. Legends turn into reality, and history as we know it will never be the same.
You play as Coen, a young man turned into a Dawnwalker, forever treading the line between the world of day and the realm of night. Fight for your humanity or embrace the cursed powers to save your family. Whatever your choice, the question stands: is your soul worth the lives of those you love?

Experience and shape the plot the way you want. Embark on the quest to save your family, or swear revenge on your sire and destroy everyone standing in your way. Discover ancient secrets lurking in the valley. Rush in head first or risk taking time to prepare. Go alone or search for friends and forge unlikely alliances.

Experience two different gameplay loops, offering distinct abilities to choose from, mysteries to uncover, and varying ways to achieve your goals. Experiment with different approaches and discover how the world reacts to your actions.

Every action - and inaction - shapes the world around you. Your family’s days are numbered, and every time you take on a quest, time moves forward, compelling you closer to the end. Choose carefully whom to help and whom to leave behind. You will not have time for everyone. The world waits for no one. And neither does the villain.

Defy gravity, become a brutal force of nature, and use your supernatural skills as a vampire. Or raise your sword, and employ powerful magic to take on opponents as a human. Experiment and adapt as your form changes during the day and night; each has its strengths and weaknesses.

Venture through the hand-crafted open world and discover all it has to offer. Roam through the lush forests, the vast plains, the treacherous swamps, the steep mountaintops, and the medieval settlements. Explore forgotten ruins, find remnants of an ancient civilization, and uncover truths that should probably remain hidden.

Experience the beginning of a brand-new saga built with love for the role-playing genre. Immerse yourself in a visually stunning world powered by the next-gen Unreal Engine 5.

Reviews
Games looks gorgous so far, but the crashes are unreal. a Dozen crashes in less than 3 hours so far, especially at the end of cutscenes. Really tears one out of the immersion. I'd suggest give the game a week to cook.
Most fun I've had playing a game in a long time!

For a studio's first game, this is incredibly addictive + It's vampires, come on.
Combat is absolutely broken in this game-- I've played KCD 2 (to completion) and all the Witcher games as well as a host of demanding combat ARPGs and this combat is BRUTAL. Enemy aggression is OFF THE CHARTS and every encounter has multiple enemies that are fast and really SUPER tanky compared to the player; no time is given for someone new to this combination of mechanics to learn what is expected and to gradually develop-- just better hope you have lightning swift reflexes and solid hand to eye right off or you are going to get KILLED. Over and over. I feel like I just paid $70 to get kicked in the face. Thanks for that sadistic lesson in buyer beware, Rebel Wolves. I won't be paying you for a second helping no matter how good your writing team, world- building, and narrative elements of the game otherwise were because you chose to make combat highly frustrating for anyone lacking perfect reflexes. Thanks a lot. Not sure what you were going for here, but if I CAN'T play the game it doesn't matter how much I liked all the other elements. Shame. I'm out--nor would I recommend this title unless you have a VERY high tolerance for painfully humiliating failures.
So far pretty goated, the movement does feel clunky and the graphics are a bit weird but I haven't played with the settings so far. The story is actually pretty captivating and all the characters are extremely well written, I wouldn't mind a series of this game. If you like story, this might be for you.
love the story telling. unique and a lot of fun
Can't do a full review but so far I can say that the game needs polishing, runs ok on my 5070 but still needs optimization. Controls are wonky, combat is ok I guess, story is promising and Coen seems to be likeable enough. Will do a proper review after I finish the game.
Peak
Unfortunately, the game feels quite raw and unfinished right now. The amount of stuttering, awkward animations, little bugs and generally unpolished mechanics makes it hard to fully enjoy the experience. The atmosphere and the idea behind the game are great, and I really wanted to like it, which makes this even more disappointing. But in its current state, it just doesn't feel ready. I wouldn't say it's unplayable for everyone, but for me there are too many issues getting in the way of actually enjoying it.
Пока нравится. Сюжет есть какой-то, по крайней мере пока, он интересен боёвка нормальная, немного необычная, звук норм, графически хорошо, но пк у меня слабоват для ue5...
