It's alright. It's the game that gave Wadjet Eye the jumpstart to start making and publishing great point & clicks, and that is its main accomplishment. It's now been out-done by many games since released but it was an enjoyable time. It's definitely not the one I'd recommend if someone asked me what Wadjet Eye Game to start on, though.
the art style is so nostalgic, it was sooo fun to play i just wish it was longer and more in depth but it still is an amazing game i LOOVEE it sm im genuinely so happy i got thiss

If you enjoyed Unavowed or any of the other Wadjet Eye adventures, you'll enjoy this but be warned it's very short - essentially just the the first chapter of series of episodic games. It's very similar in setting and tone to Unavowed, with an occult/supernatural based story and the typically well written characters and dialogue. The graphics are basic but functional, but it does have full (and well done) voice acting. Generally the puzzles aren't too difficult, but there are a couple of places that totally stumped me and I ended up having to look them up, with one of them at least relying on a game mechanic that hadn't been shown and wasn't at all obvious. Overall I enjoyed it, I just wish it was longer.
I enjoyed it. It was a good throwback to the old King's Quest style of games. However, I felt that it was EXTREMELY short. I got the entire bundle on deep discount and I'm happy to have played it for cheap. If I had paid full price in 2006 I probably would have felt a little ripped off.
A short and contained game with good story and no moon logic puzzles. What else can a point & click gamer want?
it good
It took me over 10 years but I finally finished playing through the whole Blackwell series. Its a fun and enjoyable game. The story is good and the voice acting is very good. Will recommend this game and the others for those of us who love ourselves a good point and click game with a mystery that leads you futher down the rabbit hole
Good story and music and difficulty.
It was a nice 2hour experience without any frustration, story and voices kept me playing until the end of the story. Will play the follow up games for sure!
Fantastic story with some interesting puzzles. Pity you can't make the character walk quicker, but otherwise compelling story and characters.
