This was shorter than I expected, however, that was cute as heck and absolutely adorable! Full of fun easter eggs for Holmes fans, while still being a fun, original story. Someone clearly went to a lot of effort to write a good plot. My only gripe is that I did not originally realize that the achievements were broken on Linux (and apparently have been for over a year, judging by the discussion board), and I had to completely start over after flipping through Proton compatibility options to find one that worked and gave me the achievements. After two and a half hours in-game. I was none too pleased about that. Otherwise a delightful little game.
this game is adorable! so charming and sweet. you can feel the love it was made with.

An incredibly heartwarming little adventure suitable for lifelong Holmes fans and people new to his stories alike. Whilst you might get more out of the little references if you know the stories and canon, nothing relies on you knowing much more than "Sherlock is a detective, Watson is his biographer". The game has lovely music, and such a gorgeous visual style; it will really appeal people who are fans of the adventure games this has been created in the tradition of. The writing is stellar. It really captures the voices of the characters, and makes for such believable small-town drama and interpersonal interest. I feel like I could have walked around the village for hours more, solving little disputes and mysteries with the Falworth Peculiars. This is to say nothing of the delightfully sweet dynamic between Holmes and Watson, and how it spins out through small interactions and discussions. This game delivers on everything you expect it to, and more. My only complaint is that the audio mixing is sometimes a little off -- it can be hard to hear the characters over the background noise at points, which is tragic, because the voice acting is gorgeous! By no means does this make it a chore to play, though, because it makes sure your attention stays on the game, and the gorgeous portraits that accompany the dialogue! One playthrough took me around 5 hours, and I'm already planning on a replay to explore some alternate routes and grab some achievements I missed! :)
That was so beautifully made. I was close to tears at the end.
best spended 10£ in my life honestly!! short yet cozy game with cute art, amazing writting and awesome voice acting
I thoroughly enjoyed this point-and-click adventure! I have the sneaking suspicion that it is set on the Sussex Cliff I called home for so many years, and I loved the care and attention used in bring the setting to life. It's not particularly long or difficult but it is rich and lovely.
such an amazing and cozy game. this had to take an insane amount of work and the result is more than worth it! the art, the writing and the gameplay are all gorgeous.
This was absolutely gorgeous, the perfect way to spend a couple of hours!! The game is beautifully sweet and kind, touching, and also incredibly goodlooking to boot (the pixel art is amazing and everyone's character portraits so cute!!). It's fantastically well written, voiced, paced, everything. Would gladly take a mindwipe to be able to play it again :)
Genuinely one of the best adventure games I’ve ever played. I played the entire thing with a huge smile on my face. I loved going around clicking on anything and everything because it was such a joy. A 11/10 adventure game and a 200000/10 Sherlock Holmes adaptation. HIGHLY recommend
This game is short but it is utterly delightful. It's very cozy, and the mysteries are not particularly difficult to solve. The voice acting is also wonderful, and if you listen to podcasts you will definitely recognize some of the actors! All in all, absolutely recommend!
