Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
14 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0.14/day in the week to Sep 14 → 0/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,402 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Reviews
This is a pleasant treatment of the long running (and much loved) Bard's Tale series. The puzzles are challenging and enjoyable. Some of which I'm repurposing into mini-games for my grandchildren. There are some minor UI bugs which can be annoying but, overall, a fun walk down memory lane.
Awful jagginess. Impossible to play smoothly on any settings. Technically it's absolutely a disaster of it's kind.

14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Aug 21: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.

Sounds like music to my ears. I did not rightly know what awaited me when I started out with this game. Having watched CohhCarnage play this back on release I did not really remember much of anything of the story or the world. I mostly remembered scenes and a bit of the combat. So when I bought the game the title very much put me in the mood of a poppy, light hearted adventure like the bards like to tell it. Colour me surprised when the story starts with a religious riot and what amounts to a lynching. Now don´t get me wrong, Bard´s Tale 4 is by no means a grimdark story of misery and woe but it also does not pull its punches when it comes to the plot. The world is very much typical medieval fantasy but with some good twists to the formula and a nice seasoning of Irish folklore to set it apart from a lot of the other games in its genre. And one major part of its style is of course the music. Everywhere you music will be your companion, may it be raucous battle themes with chanting warriors or women and children singng together. This gives it a very alive feeling and encourages you to just sit a minute and listen. The game is not especially pretty but offers some lovely scens and vistas. The cast of characters I encountered is quirky and lovable with some good inter-party dialogue between the members as some will argue and even clash over their idiologies while others joke together and get to know each other better. Gameplay has a low skill floor but encourages you to experiment with party composition, different builds, positioning and synergies that you can mix together. I did not look up a guide and still was very easily able to put together a party that never felt underpowered. Enemy encounters are colour coded from Green to Red but with enough gusto and know how even Red will not scare you too much. At least on Normal difficulty. Though I will admit that I did tweak difficulty for two fights. Outside of combat you are offered a nice combination of exploration and dungeon crawling with puzzles to solve and traps to be avoided or disabled. There is a good deal of optional content that rewards you for paying attention and turning over every stone. Though I felt like the amount of side quests is more front loaded than spread out. I did not have any crashes or game breaking bugs but performance did suffer a bit at times despite my hardware being more than up for the task. There are rare chances of getting stuck but a reload usually gets you out of there no problem. Bards Tale 4 is a fun entry for fans of classic dungeon crawling experiences and newbies alike.
