About
You have crash-landed on a lethal, radiation-soaked planet, and you are running out of time. A scorching sun that burns everything in its path is coming your way. Your only hope of survival is a massive mobile base too complex for one person to operate. You are forced to make a decision no human has ever faced: creating a crew of alternative versions of yourself.
But your solution may just become your biggest problem.
You crashed. You are entirely alone. The sun is a death sentence, and your mobile base must keep moving to outrun it. With no rescue coming, you must find a way to operate it, or you’ll die.
When the planet itself is your enemy, every second spent standing still brings you closer to ash.
To survive, you must move. To move, you need help. Forced to use the base’s advanced quantum technology and the planet’s unique resources, you must create The Alters: alternative versions of yourself. Brought to life by a supercomputer that turned your alternative life choices into reality, they are your only hope. They bring the specific expertise and capable hands you drastically lack, but they also bring their own human baggage.
A crew of ‘yourselves’ is a psychological nightmare. Every Alter arrives with distinct personalities, memories, and regrets. You aren't just managing resources. You are also a relationship manager to yourself, mediating conflicts and confronting your past choices lightyears from home.
As tensions rise, your Alters will clash over how to handle the mission. Keep them sane and keep them together, or your own egos will destroy your only chance of seeing Earth again.
Your rolling base is your lifeline, your factory, and your home. Customize and upgrade it to accommodate your growing crew. Research cutting-edge technologies, manage crucial life-support gear, and manufacture what you need to survive. Turn your base into a self-sustaining powerhouse capable of keeping both your crew fed and your systems humming.
You cannot hide inside the hull forever. To fuel your base and progress your research, you must step out onto the hostile planet's surface. Venture out into unpredictable anomalies and heavy radiation to mine essential resources.
But watch the clock, as every expedition is a high-stakes gamble against the oncoming burning sunrise.

Every market we collect.
Latest in each market: best FR #92, worst RU #99 · 3 markets collected
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Poland over the last 30 days: the 21 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 12 places towards #1, and the 2,501 moves with no price cut behind them went 1 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

About 30 hours in on Act 2 (day 45). When this went on sale on Steam I saw a bunch of other 11 bit games I've enjoyed so I gave this a shot. I haven't enjoyed a story telling game like this in a long time. The story is engaging and interesting, and the science fiction components of it make it seem very cinematic. Graphics are great and since updating graphics drivers, I haven't had one crash. The timelines are interesting and don't overwhelm you right away, builds the story from there. Another piece I really liked was the entertainment room, where you can watch movies you find around the planet (scattered cargo from the failed landing). The movies are actually pretty good. I also like that they separate the difficulty of strategy components from action - as an aging gamer I don't have the interest in very complex action mechanics, the easy version is plenty challenging for me, But I do like to be challenged on the strategy and planning side, so cool they give you the option to tweak them independently.
Thank you for the Ukrainian localization
Fantastic original story game!
9/10, runs terribly on my computer but I tolerated it, like Death Stranding, Michael Bay's Armageddon, and Looper had a baby
This game was really, really, fun. The story is unique, the base-building was fun, and the survival aspect was really cool. I got this on sale and I feel like I really underpaid for it since it was such a a well thought out game. About the only negative is I got some strange frame rate drops in the cut scenes, sometimes as low as 10 or 15 fps. But never any frame rate drops when actually playing the game. Weird.
The name "Alters" feels very deliberate considering the real life medical condition which creates similar results within people. Where you can have systems* with "alters", variations upon their personality of a sort. Considering I was just starting to come to terms with my own condition, where it seems highly likely I have OSDD-1B and have been diagnosed with CPTSD (PTSD as a child is effectively a prerequisite condition to have any sort of system form), I think I had a relatively interesting experience with this game. As like Jan, I also had to grapple with other versions of myself which in some ways are very similar and share a lot of common history, but also very different. From that perspective I found the game quite interesting. As it lead to a lot of similar questions from him that I had asked myself relatively recently. I also found that treating the "alters" similar to how I treat my "alters" to also consistently lead to good outcomes. (Also for how "my" alters have treated me, as an important note for this condition, is there is no main "personality", every part is an "alter", even the main one that appeared to have majority control. Which is one difference in this game as in this game, there is a clear "main" character they are split from.) Considering the main title of the game and topics grasped with being so relatable in how handled, I would be surprised if no systems were consulted on the games writing. As I found treating each alter just as valid as the rest and the main character worked out best for resolving conflicts, as well as treating it similar to how I treat my condition for who and when to share it, and got the most satisfying ending I think I could get given the situation. Overall, the games story was also interesting and worth my time. The asking price felt a bit steep for the experience, but getting it on a good sale I would recommend to most people. One interesting thing is despite it's similarity to the existing medical condition, is that the actual condition it relates to or any variation was not mentioned at all in the game. Which felt a bit surprising considering conflict dynamics that arose were so similar, that you would expect in that situation having people with a medical condition that results in a very similar state would be a gold mine for the company to look into for treatment and recommendations for Jan. Especially for ones who engage with functional multiplicity, as that is exactly what is required in the games state to maintain Jan's(s) effectiveness in gathering as much of a life changing resource as possible. Considering the game directly takes the same term used in the condition, you would also expect some effort to be put into actually having representation of an often heavily misunderstood, maligned, and poorly represented condition(s). This would have been a perfect opportunity to deliberately get some better representation, rather than simply being *heavily* eluded to. *Systems being the term for people with alters, as they rather than 1 interconnected personality, it is split up and compartmentalized. I am just a layperson who likely has one of the conditions which cause's this, so if interested I recommend reading up on Structural Dissociation. As it actually also has interesting implications on the way everyone develops for how you can get the mind to act in this state in the first place. Anyway; a rough way to understand it would be, how often you will have a version of yourself when go to work, another version when go to the gym, when interact with certain friends, excetra. Where you are slightly different depending on the situation. But you always maintain a singular sense of self, you can willingly switch between those states while always maintaining that, and you can remember and have attachment to what happened when in other states. A system can be similar, however, each version of that person has it's own sense of self, cannot always willingly switch between those states, and there will be a level of detachment over what happened in those other states, sometimes complete detachment to point of total amnesia. Which then also leads to each state starting to develop different preferences, because different memories hold meaning to them. Especially for alters "formed" younger, the differences can become rather profound; including even different preferred foods and tastes. (This one was a personal freakout cause for myself. As I am autistic and strongly react to foods I dislike. If I force myself to eat them I literally will end up throwing up. Yes I have tested this. While other "alters" when they are active, will enjoy foods I physically cannot eat when I am active.) However, they all still make up 1 person. No one state is the "true" self. Similar to how you cannot really even debate if your "work" self or your "home" self is the "true" self. You are all of them. Systems are just extremely compartmentalized people effectively. Hope this is interesting to whoever reads it!
Esse jogo é sensacional!
