It's 1955, and for unknown reasons, doppelgangers are more common than usual. Therefore, the Department of Doppelganger Detection (D.D.D.) has taken action. You are the doorman of an apartment complex, and you must decide whether to let in those who claim to be your neighbors.

About
Immerse yourself in the experience of working as a doorman in an apartment complex infested by beings that take on the appearance of your building's neighbors.
That's Not My Neighbor is a job simulator with science fiction elements and a slightly eerie aesthetic that will test your sense of observation and attention to detail.
Your job as a doorman is to allow or deny access to applicants seeking entry to your building. You will use tenants' documents and information to determine whether the applicant is truly human or not.
You will have the power to decide who enters the building and who is rejected or captured by the D.D.D. for extraction.
Include a variety of game modes: achieve different endings based on your performance in Campaign Mode, beat your score in Arcade Mode, test your skill in Nightmare Mode, and design your own tenants in Custom Mode.

This game was great. It's all about attention to detail, and there's no time limit so you can take the time to be thorough, which is something that puts me off Papers Please even though that's meant to be the gold standard for these types of games. There are a few characters that are harder than others because they live alone so you can't call their roommate to confirm anything, but for the most part everything can be solved without any guesswork or randomness, assuming you haven't messed up and gotten anyone killed already. The last achievement is bit of a drag even if you cheese it (and you should), but this was a fun one overall.
