Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0.14/day in the week to Jul 30 → 0.29/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,402 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.
About
Thalassa is a single player, first person psychological drama set in 1905. You play as Cam, a deep sea diver in a crew of adventurers and pioneers aboard Thalassa. As you prepare to raise a long-forgotten Spanish galleon from the ocean, what should be a great day for history takes a turn for the worst.
Upon needing to take some time to heal from the event, you discover Thalassa has met a mysterious and unfortunate end. Your former crew mates are gone, and you'll need to descend into the depths to board the ship once more. Alone in the ocean, with your diving support Bailey guiding you from the surface, it's up to you to piece together the clues left behind in the wreckage and discover what really happened in the final moments onboard the ship.
Immerse yourself in an atmospheric story of self-discovery and sorrow onboard Thalassa.

Discover a story that delves into the complexities of human emotions and interactions, and learn about the intricate relationships between your crew members. You'll uncover the personal struggles of each member of Thalassa's crew and how grief can be experienced in different ways. Loss takes its toll in many shapes and forms, while life marches on.

As the only diver left in the crew, it's up to you to return to Thalassa, now in its final resting place on the seabed. Navigate your way through the strange, but beautiful surroundings and discover the clues that will help you unravel the events leading up to the disaster.

Experience the calm and isolation of deep-sea exploration as you navigate through debris of the shipwreck. In order to continue exploring the ship, you'll have to find the right tools to help unblock the obstructions in your path.

Very much enjoyed this, though I do agree with the criticisms of the pacing and amount of backtracking. Even with those issues though, I did very much enjoy just being in the scene and unearthing the events. It did strike me as odd that the main protagonist isn't voiced, I think this is an oversight that would be worth fixing, but if you like things which are essentially an interactive film, then you'll probably enjoy this.
Slow going but all the better for it I think. I did enjoy this experience.
the game is a captivating narrative-driven exploration game that immediately draws you in with its atmospheric depth and emotional storytelling. Set in a beautifully realized underwater environment, the game excels at creating a sense of isolation and wonder Atmosphere & Environmental Storytelling: The art direction is simply stunning. As I explored the ocean floor and the remnants of the research station, I was struck by how the environment felt like more than just a setting—it felt like an entirely different, alien world. The deep sea is rendered with such care that it creates a truly otherworldly sense of discovery, making you feel like a stranger visiting a realm that was never meant for human eyes. Emotional Depth: The narrative is poignant, dealing with themes of grief and mystery in a way that feels grounded and sincere. It focuses heavily on the human element, which makes the isolation of the setting even more impactful.
