Terra Nil

This feels like a mix of a factory game and a cosy game. I played it on the higher difficulty, which at the start was not noticable at all and made me want to put down the game after about 4 to 5 hours. Honestly without the restriction of having to puzzle out each level they just felt like a 'cleanup' game like viscera cleanup. It is satisfying to bring the planet back to life, but if that is all there is to it I will lose interest really fast. I dropped the game for about a week and then gave it another go, progressing in the levels. After a few levels I started having to think about where I placed which biomes, regularly restarting a phase to make sure all the animals arrived and could become happy. This is where the true enjoyment started for me, each level adding a little something extra and new to figure out. Overall, 7/10 for me. Graphics: 8/10 - Really cosy and relaxing Music: 8/10 - While the music is nothing special, it sets the perfect tone for what we want to achieve here. The little details as you unlock bigger milestones and the music has a crescendo was a really nice touch. Gameplay: 6/10 - The gameplay in itself was a rather simple puzzle game, but it was merely a delivery mechanic for the rest of the game, which is a really creative take to a factory/puzzle game
