Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 4.57/day in the week to Aug 15 → 5.71/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 23 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 14 places towards #1, and the 2,515 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Was so so looking forward to this, having the adaptive setting in game allows the game to be played by anyone at their pace, fantastic piece of work by devs. a must for any c and c fans. highly recommend
Honestly, I am going to take into consideration that the devs are actively adding to this game. But this game is super fun and it definitely reminds me of the old school command and conquer games. Everything is super fluent and the game runs very well. I am super happy I picked it up! Ideally they add more map variety but the introduction of workshop maps is going to be super cool. It's definitely in my opinion on the more casual side for an RTS game but I think they're going in the right direction and I would buy it again!

We have C&C 3 at home. Quality RTS that proudly wears it's influence on its sleeve.
Very polished RTS game made in the C&C/Red Alert vein. Pretty much everything in terms of unit building, upgrades, researches, specials and presentation harkens back to the aforementioned classics. I played the campaign of the both GDS, which seems to be the game's version of the Allies and Dynasty, which are prototyped after the Russians/Soviets and both were pretty well made and fun to pursue. The only thing I find to be missing in Tempest Rising is naval combat. This game is exclusively focused on terrestrial and aerial combat. No naval buildings, units and maps. Maybe they can expand the game to include naval buildings, units and combat in the future. The doctrine/armory mechanic is kind of unique, at least for me. I don't recall the old C&C and Red Alert games to have something similar. But then again I haven't played them all so I could be wrong. A third faction does appear towards the end of both GDS/DYN campaigns which hopefully the developers can implement as a playable one, both in multiplayer and a single player campaign. Sort of like RA3 did with the Japanese.
Tempest Rising almost comes across as a modern combination of the original Westwood RTS titles. Allies vs Soviet, with red Tiberium. Hang on is that the same tactical map from Red Alert? Oh there's the Hand of Nod but now it's two hands. It does make me wonder how much is homage or if there were veteran devs involved anywhere. They even have Frank Klepacki to make sure the music is what you'd expect. That being said Tempest Rising does have enough development to be its own entity. There is a lot of effort to make each faction handle core mechanics with their own flavour. Construction, resourse gathering, tech progression. Making use of ideas that weren't as involved in the genre at the time like building up debuffs on enemy units rather than everything just being damage. There are some drawbacks. All of the homages can make some of the differences feel inherently flawed, and overall the game comes across as lacking.. character. The use of 3D models instead of FMVs and actors for the briefings. The arbitrary decision to let you have conversation options in said briefings instead of just.. divulging the necessary information then getting on with the mission. The music is decent, but none of it has any eccentric charm. The units have different lines but the only one I'm going to remember is the sniper saying 'Compensating for spin..' because it was pointed out to me as ridiculous. Spin helps the bullet fly straight. Is she doing a 360, is that the spin she needs to compensate for? None of the other barks stand out at all. Some are far too heavy on the radio filter too. It's all too grounded. The GDF campaign comes across as lack-luster. It doesn't feel like you succeed at anything. There are hints of things going on in the background but you just kind of go along trying to prevent wrongdoings, the big danger appears, you say no thanks and it's all over. The Tempest Dynasty is a bit more involved, though strangely almost completely slavic for a European-Asian coalition. Hints at things for the future, and you seem to achieve at least one goal. Both do also feel a little on the short side. Either way, the final cutscene for both has soldiers from each side next to each other as if they worked together at any point which is not in any way true. Still. It was fun enough. I wanted more. It felt a lot more right than I remember feeling playing Grey Goo. All the women seem to wear face masks for some reason. Just a strange note.
exactly like command and conquer with better graphics
Great
