Habe die Demo bei Findelfuchs auf Twitch gesehen und musste mir gleich das ganze Story Bandel kaufen weil ich so lachen musste beim zu schauen.
in tabletop worlds, they say everybody always meets in a tavern... and this tavern is run by YOU!!! step into the shoes of tavernkeeper [redacted] (just innkeep to friends and patrons--a good neighbor never gives out their true name) (wink), who serves up quests along with drinks. meet and befriend a colorful cast who might as well have stepped onto your screen straight from a dnd campaign, feed them delicious drinks that you will wish existed in real life, and send them on their way to glory or total disaster!! the Bartender Sim genre of ADV always comes with some degree of human drama, and tavern talk is no outlier--but because there is a Whole Tabletop Campaign going on outside your doors, you should expect to run into a lot more life-and-death drama in the mix than your average cozy game. a further aspect of this is that the drinks you serve will grant your adventurer buddies buffs, and when they're about to head out on a quest, what buffs they have will determine how they approach said quest... and perhaps even whether those quests succeed or fail...... tavern talk's endearing cast is bolstered by fun dialogue and an emotional story, and by the game's peppy soundtrack and colorful art direction. the solid black chiaroscuro aspects to the shading remind me warmly of the good ole classic n64 zeldas, and all the lovely variation in character design as well as the strong prop design shares vibes with psychopomp resource management sim spiritfarer (speaking of games that will bully you with food you can't eat and also make you cry A Lot). plus the game has its own original setting rather than using any preexisting tabletop game setting, so if you're a sicko for worldbuilding you're going to have a lot of fun learning all the little bits of lore to be found! and, if you're a tabletop enjoyer yourself, there are a whole bunch of dlc that are geared towards letting you play around in gentle troll's sandbox... tbh i did not expect this game to hit so hard (they are Not kidding about those grief-related tags) but i enjoy those kinds of themes and am extremely glad that tavern talk does not pull its punches. extremely good experience, fully recommend getting all the endings if you play, and then picking up the prequel if you like it................................................. (extremely solicitous eye contact)

For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,402 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

what i liked about this was the varying paths and each character, especially the interactions. its good for those who enjoy more story kind of games compared to action and those who liek delving into more characters. definitely recommend
Loveable characters, and delightful dialogue.
I both forgot to make a review, and finish the game. 💀 At the time that I left off I remember feeling that it was crazily alot, like too much, but now that I'm restarting again it feels a bit better. This game definitely takes awhile to complete, I've fallen asleep playing visual novels many times, so if you can get through that, and enjoy long stories then you will like this game. I definitely liked the world building, and characters (Since I am a big DnD player myself) it really gave that kind of vibe. Only downside is that as a player who does binges that span from morning to night the small font of the text strains your eyes overtime.
very good
This is an amazing calm game perfect for a quick playthrough on a Saturday morning. The characters are delightful and the story is engaging and fun. For anyone looking for a visual novel with some gameplay mixed in you might like this game!
I loved this game, more specifically, I loved the characters first and foremost. (Fable is a cinnabun who should be protected al all costs.) The way that you can impact their dynamics is great and it comes down neatly in the end. They're character development along the game is really heartwarming to see and the game really made worried for them. They're all great! About the choices, I'm not sure if only failed twice but those two specific ones really were a gut punch, I appreciate the fact that it had actual consequences instead of simply "well, you get a different achievement." I'd really love to see a sequel of this, specially if some of the most iconic characters were still around and we got to see how their relationships developed. It's a great cozy game and they don't even tend to be my cup of tea. Good job Gentle Trollers! Can't wait to see more of you.
