About

Task Force Admiral Vol.1: American Carrier Battles is a single-player experience centered on the command of an early Pacific War US Navy carrier task force. As the overall commander, you are in charge of seeking the destruction of the enemy naval forces and preventing your opponent, the Japanese Navy, from accomplishing its objectives. To achieve your aims, you have at your disposal the most fearsome sea projection weapon known to Man in 1942: your carrier air groups and the task forces that support them.
As a carrier task force admiral in this pioneering age of air/naval warfare, assume the mantle of retribution in this innovative interpretation of a classic topic, as the first title in a new series that will further explore and develop the genre. Forget about the limitations of the past, and let the best of wargaming and simulation blend and blossom together in this new take on command at sea! Re-live the great battles of the first year of the Pacific War as if you were there yourself. In here there is no dice roll, no artificial skill-tree, no arbitrary stats, selective fog of war or supernatural crystal-clear communications. It is real-time crisis management for you, realism and historicity without concession, as little abstraction as can be, and loads of action, suspense and refreshing gameplay packed in the same single computer software.

Battlestations: Midway but upgraded! Awesome game
really enjoy the search find and destroy, while covering your assets with fighters, and delivering a strike package on where the enemy might be after being sighted earlier

Very good game with superb mechanics, historical investigation and fine details. By the Yorktown model is also one mural painted inside of forward elevator, discovered recently by the sunken ship together with the car. Another plus, you can fly the F4F-3 Wildcat and the F2A-3 Buffalo and that using your joystick and pedals. Nothing of W S A D and that is a excelent extra work by the game team. 100 % recommended.
I like this theme very much, but there are still a lot of content to be added at present, such as manual damage control, temporary interruption of takeoff or landing to perform another more urgent action, more optimized aircraft command, please speed up the update:) And I hope the final product can operate the fleet to fight for weeks, including replenishing fuel, aircraft, ammunition, etc. at the supply point. In short, there are many things to look forward to!
但是,但是,都到2026年中了,我们的中文呢
有中文就值得好评,更何况题材少见,游玩体验也不错。
The UI looks great, but the equipment browsing interface still lacks detailed stats and parameters. I hope future updates will include a way to view those specs. Also, the game currently doesn't have a tutorial or manual — it would be much appreciated if one could be added down the line.
This is an early access game. It's not done as yet, and that includes "we're still sorting things out enough to finalize the manual and make a tutorial" levels of being worked on. It's not bug-free and it still wants polish. Even if it got no further updates than this, I am convinced it's worth the money. The lack of tutorial or finished manual does mean you may need to trial-and-error through some difficulties or beg a friend who's already worked things out for help, but the systems are intuitive enough that those methods of learning are fairly easy to learn. No bugs I've encountered are game-breaking, the available scenarios and mission generator are plentiful, and the overall gameplay - finding your target, assembling and launching the strike as quick as you can, waiting in tension to see if your strike will be successful or if the enemy found you first, watching the strike hit and your own forces try to evade the enemy's strike - is just incredibly fun. Totally worthwhile. And this is not all the game you'll be getting, either! The developers are active, regularly put out updates that both implement fixes and add new scenarios, and respond to inquiries and maintain transparency. So that bit I said earlier about "even if it got no more updates I'd say it's worth it"? It is getting more updates and will by all indications continue to do so! It easily clears the lowest bar I can set it. So if you have any interest in controlling a WWII US Navy carrier task force and managing its strategy and enough money to pay for this game, do so ASAP!
