Really cool graphics, low stress detective work!
This game had such a wide cast of memorable characters, both design wise and personalities, the layout was fantastic, I was _mostly_ pretty happy with how the hints didn't straight up give you the answer, but enough to help you figure it out (except for ONE puzzle that in the victim's room), and the story was great. I was honestly just playing it to past the time, not realizing how engrossed I got into the game, and definitely didn't realize the sequel is coming out in a few days (I literally JUST saw this before this review). I was going to comment originally how I could better observe the items you're given to carry around, but it looks like the sequel might already be fixing that issue. Oh, and the ending was... ok... A slight bit disappointing, but not the end of the world. Overall, highly recommend playing it, and probably will come back to it again in the future
It's a pretty good game if you're looking for relatively easy puzzles and low stakes for error. The plot is a bit convoluted for me, but overall I think it makes sense. Loved the voice acting, and all the characters were interesting. In terms of piecing together the mystery, it wasn't always clear what was triggering the Ah-Ha suspicions. And it was sometimes hard to connect the dots because it wouldn't let me read the notes on the clues while doing the connections. In terms of bang for your buck, if you're catching this on one of its sales, then it's definitely worth checking out, especially if you want a more casual visual-novel-esque point-and-click adventure.
Absolutely incredible voice acting, some really great sound design and a genuinely delightful soundtrack makes this game an absolute joy to play. The puzzles are a little shoehorned in and the ending is somewhat disappointing, but overall I had a great time with it.

Cute 2D animation and the game cream studio creative so well that I feel anyone is giving it a spark in each aspect in. Lovely story telling and characters have such a charm in their own way!
