About

TaleSpire is a beautiful way to play pen and paper RPGs online. Bring your stories to life and embark upon campaigns together with your friends, regardless of where you are in the world.
With Talespire, the beauty and physicality of tabletop gaming meet the endless possibilities of a digital world. Here you can collaboratively build your worlds without compromising the handcrafted aesthetic of using traditional miniatures.
As a player, you can take on the mantle of multiple heroes and creatures, manage your stats, and express yourself using the growing emote system. Perform dice rolls directly on the board and interact with your environment — at least, as far as your GM will let you!
As a GM, you can dazzle and thrill your friends by building expansive maps, setting up shots, and controlling immersive soundscapes to bring all your delightful and devious designs to life.
TaleSpire is not tied to a specific game or ruleset. Whether you’re running a one-shot or a sprawling campaign, if it's on a square grid then we have your back. We are now in Early Access, so now is your chance to raise up your sword, rally your friends, and take your next adventure online with us.

Setting the stage for your story takes no time at all with Talespire, but even if you forget to prep, it can all be added in while you play. Want to destroy a wall to reveal a secret passage? Do it! Want to rain down piles of gold from the heavens? You have the power. At any moment during your adventure, you (or multiple GMs) can jump into building mode and change the world without interrupting anything else. Our persistent online boards can be created at a moment’s notice, and everything is synchronized in real-time as you dice-roll your way to glory.

It’s dangerous to go alone, but luckily we have a bunch of tools that can help, and all are as pleasing as they are useful. Beautiful dice, rulers and area markers, a range of emotes, and special modes for turn-based combat and cinematic sequences are at your disposal.
Pick from a plethora of pieces to create your scenes! The current roster stands at 280 miniatures, 2100 tiles and props, and 60 unique audio tracks. Our library is ever-expanding; we produce fresh asset packs every month.
TaleSpire boards are designed to be easily shared, whether with friends or with the wider community on sites like TalesBazaar or TalesTavern. You can copy sections of your boards (slabs) and paste them as text outside of TaleSpire. Simply paste the text back into TaleSpire to summon the slab to your hand.
Being in Early Access we still have plenty of adventures ahead of us. We have an active Discord community, which you can find in the social section, and alongside your feedback we’re looking forward to developing the game’s features. So come, journey with us a while.

its super cool how they have a website to allow community creations to be imported and all these community assets to be taken and used on your own, but aside from the inability to change the color of assets, or that you can only change the direction of things on the X axis or size range is vastly inconsistent depending on the default they were made, limited camera mobility, and the BIGGEST issue being that you are - constantly loosing connection to the servers and bringing your games to a halt for half hour or more at a time. - having to redownload the same community assets like you never downloaded them or they just dont show up anymore (some arent characters but environment or props) and end up being just a token that is basically nothing because you need to keep downloading the same things or the game forgets. - runs poorly, despite having an overbuilt PC. the bottle neck is the game itself. - crashes whenever you unveil something in a hidden box so players cant see it. even though the map is fully loaded and everything you are unhiding from players (like a ship with detailed interior) if you unhide it, it will sh1t itself and crash the game. (probly from running so poorly like i mentioned) ive had it with this game despite the cool updates, its unuseable and theres no reason to know why it keeps breaking

Fantastic VTT tool, my players have told me that using Talespire has been some of their most immersive experiences playing a TTRPG. Between community mod support, new features being worked on, and all the tools already there, if you can afford this and the extra $ for the 'Seats', as a GM you won't regret it.
Super fun. It is best used as just a table replacement, don't bother with anything flashy. Well, that is how I like it best. Would be nice if it had something for condition markers, more options to mark enemies unique in some way.
Довольно перспективно выглядящая платформа для настолок. Есть сложности с освоением управления, но в целом привыкнуть можно.
Very convenient and fairly easy to use as a player. The learning curve as a game master is a little tricky but there are a lot of free resources so it's not like you need to be really skilled with map making. There's also a lot of options that aren't just for fantasy settings. The coolest thing in my opinion is being able to import HeroForge models. Also I love measuring things with a ruler over counting tiles <3
"ChatGPT generate the most advanced D&D software ever made then charge $25 to use it and an additional $50 to play with a standard party. Upload to steam.com and also make sure to state nowhere that you have to pay an additional $50" "Okay you're all set! is there anything else I can help you with?" "chatGPT what country has to lowest age of consent"

This is a neat dungeon maker, and the fact you can play on it is great. But it has some really limited features for what it is, 1 The water is a layer, that you can raise and lower... and that is it. Say you wanna open a door from a dry hallway into a square room magically filled with water, to bad you can't. 2 no way i can find to export maps so making maps in this is only for use with this and nothing else 3 players have to pay to play as well annoying. 4 you can't change any of the items, say you select a chair, can't make it larger, smaller, can't change its shape or break it apart. 5 the items and tiles are surprisingly limited. there are like 6 grass land, 4 swam land, 5 forest land and they never seem to fit together well. This extends to all the things including monsters and characters want a gnome fighter?... TOO BAD! 6 the video shows a rocky beach like scene where you build a house. yeah you can't build that scene at all. You can do the house, but if the rest is possible i don't see how. Not even a generated landscape or anything 7 can't change any of the colors of the items 8 if you zoom in walls vanish and you can't effect them or edit them. 9 the interface in not well made, not many tools, even the filter in the build options will for whatever reason auto correct things like forest to fort idk why but makes it useless. I could continue but i'll stop here. Its a neat little thing, and i hope it will continue to grow and get better, but at this point there are better options out there. Though i haven't seen any change since i bought it around a year ago and its been out for almost 5 years. I feel like it should be way farther along then it is.
Tf you mean 2 month w/ not a single new feature? wtf are they doing TES 6? I love the VTT, but it remains in Early Access for ages, the last update wasn't a big thing, only a few X-mas things and no more, It lacks of diversity in their Building packs and for years the only VFX that they made was a green laser, red laser, pink splash and wiggle the miniature, no rain effect, no explosions, no nothing. Agarren la pala.
Great VTT for D&D and other tabletop game systems. Plenty of third party support and it merges seamlessly with Hero Forge.
