one of the best games ever if you like making crazy builds

This is generally a game I always keep installed and its always fun to burn a weekend playing some TOME. I've hardly done or unlocked everything in 600 hours. I'm not particularly good but I enjoy rolling a character and slowly making my way through the world.

To me, this game is a beautiful mixture of old school and new school. The plethora of play styles and variety of classes and races, the layered nuances of spells and effects, the mixture of suspense and humor. It's such a well crafted gem of a game that I enjoy every minute I play, and find myself coming back for more. One of the best value for money games I've ever played.

Very fun

Get sucked into an area with enemies 15 levels higher than you, no way to get out and your character is gone. Yet entering an area you are "overleveled" for, chances are you're not really, warrants a pop up letting you know. Interesting, metagaming: the experience. Good game though, salty review.

There's good stuff here and nicely varied classes and skills, but there's also stupid crap that like unkilable surprises that one hit kill you a bit too often, that may be fun for a specific type of psycho but they deserve some not so good reviews for it
