Fast-paced and brutally challenging, Eldest Souls is a unique Soulslike experience. In a final act of vengeance, the Old Gods have unleashed a great Desolation upon the world. Mankind's only hope lies with a lone warrior… and his greatsword of pure Obsydian.

Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 1.14/day in the week to Aug 28 → 2.57/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 25 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 10 places towards #1, and the 2,413 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

14 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Aug 22: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.

fun game
Eldest souls is a fast and demanding top-down action game. The game is very enjoyable once you understand its mechanics, it can seem relatively simple at first, but the difficulty increase dramatically when you start adding the restrictions required for 100% completition. 100% Completion Time : 37.9H Completion Difficulty : 8/10 Playthroughs : 4 minimun Missables : None Notable requirements : Complete the game on normal, abyss, no hit for all bosses, no death, no upgrade.
(-) Interacting with the environment is frustrating because of the poor visual clarity. It's hard to tell where you can actually walk and where you'll just get stuck on invisible geometry or random objects. (-) Combat feels weird. Either your attacks only go straight ahead, or they automatically lock onto enemies - I honestly couldn't tell. Enemies also seem to have auto-tracking, so they can literally spin 180 degrees in the middle of an attack, making it impossible to dodge. Everything about it feels disorienting. (-) A boss can be facing one direction and swinging straight ahead, yet still hit you when you're clearly outside the attack animation. The game becomes incredibly frustrating when you can't tell whether an animation will actually hit you or not. (-) I literally got stuck in the environment during one of my best attempts. The boss was between me and the camera, so I couldn't even see my own character. (-) Attack animations don't match their hitboxes at all. Attacks that clearly shouldn't connect based on the animation still hit because of the actual hitbox. How the hell am I supposed to know when a dodge is enough and when it isn't? (-) Fighting near the bottom of the screen gives you a much better chance of dodging. If you're near the top, bosses attack from weird angles, and it constantly feels like you're somehow closer to them, making their attacks much more likely to connect. It's complete nonsense. (-) When you're at the top of the screen, you can literally miss the boss's wind-up animation before an attack. (-) A boss can be facing you, yet an ability that's clearly supposed to hit in front of them somehow hits behind them instead. THE GAME FEELS COMPLETELY UNFAIR. You can get hit by attacks even when you're nowhere near where they appear to land. Sure, you can bash your head against the game, ignore all these issues, accept them, and eventually beat it. But that raises one simple question: why? If the game hands me a pile of garbage from the start, why would I willingly take it? I would've refunded it if I hadn't bought it at a 90% discount for less than a dollar. I would never recommend this game to anyone. Souls-like games are supposed to be challenging, but they also need to be polished enough that your deaths feel like your own mistakes - not the result of poor game design. I honestly couldn't find a single positive. If I really had to mention one, it would be the ability to switch builds quickly. 1/10.
I dont normally do soulslike games, but this one had me hooked from the start. Mechanics were clean, the story was awesome and the art style was great! The bosses were largely unforgiving as a person who doesnt play these kinds of games, but the ability to retry quickly and learn attack patterns made it a top tier game.
When you make a game clearly ripping off the souls series at least make the controls the same, or let me customize them. The control customization in this game is broken, either I can't use the menu because it has no native ps5 controller support, or I can't change the terrible control scheme, because the game doesn't actually let you customize controller inputs. What a pathetic attempt at a rip-off.
The game accurately advertises itself as brutally challenging, but maybe it's a little too brutal. I keep getting stuck between the bosses and a piece of geometry, and then died. Bosses also take a lot of damage to drop, so fights are really long. It's pretty well designed, but I didn't find it fun. Really pretty to look at, good sound design. Too bad the difficulty is stopping me from seeing more of the game.
