For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 25 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 10 places towards #1, and the 2,413 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Incredibly short, for the price it's definitely not worth it! I like the idea, but the execution is sadly not great... Easy achievements so thats a +, besides that 2/10

Truly a bewildering game. From its stylistic choices to its gameplay, it feels like a strange ride that ends far too quickly. By the end, I found myself questioning what I had actually played. I don’t think the game is worth the money. Most of the puzzles are very easy, with only two standing out—and those didn’t feel properly solvable within the game itself. The story is vague and ultimately uninteresting, and the overall experience feels more like a rough concept than a fully developed game. That said, if you can play it for free, it might still be worth trying just for the experience.
honestly one of the most important games in my life, i wouldn't be the same without taiku mansion and im thankful for it

TAIKU MANSION is a compact and deliberately old-school adventure title that leans heavily on classic escape-room logic and haunted-house atmosphere rather than modern production values. Developed by KITATUS STUDIOS and published by My Way Games, the game places players in a familiar but intriguing setup: a mysterious message from a long-dead friend lures you into a secluded mansion, only for the doors to slam shut behind you and a disembodied voice to issue a chilling ultimatum—solve the mansion’s secrets and escape before sunrise, or face the consequences. This premise immediately establishes a sense of urgency and isolation, framing the entire experience as a race against time inside a hostile, puzzle-filled environment. The gameplay structure of TAIKU MANSION is straightforward and linear, revolving entirely around exploration and puzzle solving. The mansion is divided into a series of rooms, each containing a self-contained challenge that must be completed to unlock further progression. These puzzles vary in type, including code-breaking, pattern recognition, environmental observation, and interaction with objects scattered throughout the rooms. This variety prevents the experience from feeling entirely repetitive, but it also introduces uneven pacing and difficulty. Some puzzles feel intuitive and rewarding, encouraging players to think carefully about clues hidden in the environment, while others can feel opaque or arbitrary, occasionally relying on guesswork or obscure logic that may frustrate players rather than engage them. The game’s mechanics intentionally echo classic point-and-click adventure design, for better and worse. Interaction is simple, with limited movement and direct engagement with objects rather than freeform exploration. This design choice keeps the focus squarely on problem-solving, but it also makes the experience feel rigid and dated. Controls and interface elements are functional but minimal, and the lack of quality-of-life features—such as adjustable text pacing or more responsive feedback—can make the game feel less approachable, especially for players accustomed to more modern puzzle adventures. Still, for those who appreciate stripped-down mechanics and a no-frills approach, this simplicity may be part of the appeal. Visually, TAIKU MANSION presents a stark and utilitarian aesthetic that prioritizes clarity over atmosphere. The environments are largely static, with low-resolution textures and limited visual effects that evoke the feel of early indie or browser-based adventure games. While this can detract from immersion, it also gives the game a certain rawness, as though it were more concerned with presenting puzzles than crafting a deeply cinematic haunted house. Sound design plays a modest role, with sparse audio cues and occasional unsettling tones reinforcing the sense of isolation, though the overall presentation never fully capitalizes on the horror potential of its setting. Narratively, the game provides just enough context to motivate progression without deeply expanding on its mysteries. Story elements are delivered through brief text exchanges and environmental hints, leaving much of the backstory intentionally vague. This minimalistic approach allows players to project their own interpretations onto the events unfolding in the mansion, but it also means that the story never fully develops into something emotionally resonant or particularly memorable. The threatening voice and the mystery of the deceased friend create intrigue early on, yet the narrative remains more of a framing device than a driving force, existing primarily to justify the puzzle-solving gauntlet. Ultimately, TAIKU MANSION is a niche experience that caters to players who value pure puzzle design over polish, narrative depth, or technical refinement. Its strengths lie in its focused structure and commitment to classic adventure conventions, while its weaknesses stem from dated visuals, inconsistent puzzle quality, and a lack of modern accessibility features. For players who enjoy short, linear escape-room-style games and are willing to tolerate rough edges in exchange for a concentrated challenge, the mansion’s trials may offer a few hours of engaging problem-solving. For others, the experience may feel underdeveloped, serving more as a curiosity from an earlier era of indie design than a fully realized modern adventure. Rating: 5/10
