Incredible game. Hilarious writing married with tight game design and pacing. X-Com Evolved.

Fun tactics game, gets right into the action, and storyline and scripting is well done very entertaining
There aren't enough games about defenestration. I quite these types of tactics games where it's not just about just doing damage, but involves other interactions with enemies like pushing. Tactical Breach Wizards is not on the level of Into The Breach, but it plays into a lot of the same ideas of finding different ways to combine the different abilities. One thing I appreciate is that of the five characters you get throughout the game, they all play differently - it's not just like they each have their one unique ability, their entire loadout of abilities are unique from each other. The game features a lot of in-between mission dialogue between characters (something that wouldn't surprise you if you played Gunpoint) and it's written really well. I actually didn't think I would like it nearly as much as I did. It's the type of dialogue that I don't normally like: witty characters that don't usually take things seriously (ok, maybe it's mostly Jen who's like that) but there are a lot of funny jokes and dialogue in there and I care about the plot.
Bought Tactical Breach Wizards for the strategy, stayed because my priest kicked a guy through a window and called it "advanced tactics" 10/10 would violate building codes again.
Nice relaxing game where you'd need to think a bit but often you're able to just test things out before doing them (trying out solutions and reverting is the core mechanic). The story, world and dialogues are very enjoyable. The compaign is simple, but with custom difficulty and custom levels the sky is the limit.
All-around amazing game
I really don't write reviews often, but this game was charming enough that I feel really deserves me going out of my way to give it a shoutout. Gameplay is fun and has depth where and when you want it, and it's got a really witty writing. All the characters are charming, have emotional depth represented in fun gameplay mechanics, and the convos put a smile to my face, with a few twists that made me feel things. My only nitpicky thing is that the main villain seemed a bit 1-dimensional compared the rest of the cast, but I think that isn't a big deal if I just see the villain as vehicle for the rest of the character development, not the main course. It's a rare combination of great gameplay qualities, length, and price. Really a perfect palate cleanser and a hidden gem.
The writing can be a little millennial at times, but that's literally the only bad thing I can think of to say about this game. Fantastic little strategy number with a surprisingly good plot. I'm glad I finally finished it.
