With scaling difficulty, random encounters, and dozens of heroes and factions to unlock, no two campaigns play the same.Command unique factions, each boasting distinct playstyles. great game, really fun idea
The base for the game is really good and all the controls and mechanics feel very clean. I think for myself there's an issue with replayability. The roguelike aspect needs to be played more upon to create more excitement. For example, in Slay the Spire 2, certain cards can be combined with certain events and upgrades to create very strong cards. Although there is the promotion system in place, I don't feel that sense of excitement when I'm improving my army, just stat increases or situational bonuses so I don't get the same dopamine.

For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 24 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,404 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

The game is utter garbage , frame drops and unit balance all over the place. Auto resolve is so awful like makes no sense just basic green units can kill your entire rare unit roster or do too much damage. THe unit balance is just very awful some green can tank against purple or even leg tier . Some purple cant be broken very useles to flank and to bother with morale debuffs tey sitll wont break. The game has also hidden stats like total war warhammer ai has where if the game wants you to lose you will lose. How ? your units get hit and even if full hp you insta break or some fights where you kow its winnable you sitll lose . Counters in this game no point just recognise which units are busted and spam those and you win all time . Auto resolve favours these busted units insanely.
This game is the gift that keeps giving its fun to play the different races are all unique and to say its a single lad whos done this is a credit to that man
Tabletop Tavern has an effective game play loop where it streamlines away a lot of the tedium commonly associated with Total War games. The rogue-like elements make for an entertaining combination that provides good pacing between the campaign (army, inventory & item management) and battles. Overall the game is fun when played in short bursts and does not require much time investment.
Great Game. Scratches the Total War itch, without loading screens lasting hours, allowing you to quickly play through different types of armies. Looking forward to the game's growth - It's very good right now while still lacking a lot of polishing and content, but the ceiling of growth for the game is... immeasurable, in my opinion.
Genius blend of Total War tactical action and a lovely rogue lite progression, high potential, phenomenal value.
It's a simple and fun strategy game set in a fantasy world. Run throughs are fairly quick, and there are quite a number of factions to choose from. Is there a lot to the game? in my opinion there is enough to jump into for a few quick little battles. That being said, the game is still developing with the promise of 1 purchase is all you need to access all future DLC's and updates, lets be honest guys when do we ever get that?
It's good fun if you like tabletop games like Warhammer Fantasy Battles or Warhammer The Old World... or if you simply enjoy Total War. Cool units, nice mechanics, it can feel a bit "huh? wtf." at times, but I can still recommend it a lot.
This games fun. It's baby's first total war, but it needs more time to cook.
