This game is a hidden gem and I LOVE it. That being said, the online player base is gone and the devs have gone as well. Huge shame as this is truly a WELL DONE game.
4/10 a little on the slow side didnt play vr, so no idea how well that works
I have had loads of fun with this game! Easy to learn, difficult to master. This game shines in its simplicity. Top-down tabletop design, three factions, similar units and buildings available between factions -- yet still so much variety in how each game can play out. Some have suggested that the developers add more factions, but I disagree. I think to add more than the three current factions would make it a bit too convoluted. While the units and structures available for each faction are similar, there are enough unique attributes to each that it creates a ton of spontaneity from match to match. It's friendly to casual players in that it's very easy to catch on to how the game works, but if you have a competitive edge, there are plenty of strategies to be developed for different factions, match-ups and maps. "Alternate" units and ult abilities are available to swap out at the beginning of each round too which keeps things VERY interesting. The matches are fast-paced so it cuts out a lot of the slow grinding of typical RTS games. As satisfying as it is addicting. My one criticism is that the human faction seems to be at a pretty big disadvantage. I'd like to seem the human units either buffed with more hp/DPS or come at a lower mana cost. There's also no push-to-talk function in the arenas, but I've heard the developers are working on that as we speak. Overall I think this game is mad fun, solidly built, and friendly to gamers of all types.

This game is Incredible. Just sitting around a boardgame with friends playing this has been a great way to spend the weekend. Brings back some of the old feel and fighting spirit back with friends. Truly a must have for anyone that enjoys a good board game. I have never even played a tower defense game but this game was amazing.
Tabletop Gods is a fun VR RTS with 2D crossplay. You can check out my full review here https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YUB8IbfJJAI
Find more reviews on my curator page HERE. A great game with a really active and dedicated dev that hosts weekly community nights. It's similar to many popular tug-of-war RTS games but without any gacha gimmicks or nonsense. It's also playable in VR, which is more fun than I expected. Overall, it's a fun game with lots of strategic depth and a steady flow of updates. The dev is SUPER active and their Discord is really nice.
Totally awesome tower defense battle!! Loved playing it in VR! A total must have game for RTS lovers!! https://youtu.be/tAAPah4s8Us
Cool ideas. I like the gameplay, but the price is too high. No updates since 2019 and the online servers are bare. If you're going to play this for single player skirmish, wait for a deep sale. https://youtu.be/r5MR72jep2U
I was lucky enough receive this game as part of a promotion back when it first released. It was then and still remains one of my favorite games on steam. The most fun is the multiplayer, but the player base isn't large enough to assume that every time you log on you'll find a match. That being said the single player alone is worth the price of admission.
