About

Test your mettle (but also your metal) as you discover and unleash the power behind a multitude of magical swords to defeat an otherworldly Celestial evil! Your quest will challenge your reactions, lead you through treacherous biomes, and pit you against the most formidable enemies and bosses.

A giant blade has plunged into the world of Armorial, bringing a hail of smaller blades along with it. The calamitous sword seems to be draining the power of the planet itself, and with each passing day, the rain of swords grows heavier and heavier. To undo this vile corruption, you’ll play as Colt, an unwitting hero who has gained the ability to wield the fallen blades. It's time to make a stand against the Celestial evil that seeks to destroy the kingdom!

As you venture forth, each new sword you find will come with a unique ability, aka its Swordcery. These abilities allow you to perform magical feats like: hurling your sword out in boomerang-like fashion, thundering down as a bolt of lightning, opening up hellfire fissures, or summoning a ring of protective icy swordflakes!

Every blade you find is categorized into a Sword Class, which has its own set of offensive maneuvers. From specific combos to unique abilities, each Sword Class may be more advantageous due to the terrain or combat situation. It is up to you to master and acknowledge which Sword Class's attributes and attacks will work in unison along with your mighty Swordcery abilities. Enemy encounters will test your ability to recognize patterns, reactions to telegraphed attacks, your ability to utilize both melee and various magical attacks, as well as your resource management skills while in the heat of battle.

Each new run, you can expect to discover new swords, find various relics to add to your playstyle, choose new sword class upgrades, and trek through procedurally generated dungeons.

great game. the only problem in my opinion is the camera angle. quite difficult to see enemies the way it is now. hopefully itll get redone and make it more top down like other rougelike game (for ex. Hades, Sworn, Shape of Dreams, the also new game Echoes of Mystralia. etc.). other than that, the option to change the starting weapon (the very least the weapon type). all in all i actually like the game. reason i wouldnt recommend this game right now is because most players wouldnt have fun with how it currently is. it is still lacking a few tweaks. My Honest Opinion!
Been waiting on this one a while, an good things come to those who wait (and work hard)! Game is excellent and will only get better from here. First time playing a rogue-lite and it is difficult, but not impossible. If you enjoy a challenge and like supporting indie's, definitely more than worth the price tag!

This game is actually so much fun! The amount of swords in this game is crazy, and every sword feels different. You can switch between all these different swords and figure out which ones work best with the magic abilities they have. I’ve spent a lot of time just trying different sword combinations to see what kind of build I can make.
This game is well suited for skilled gamers looking for challenging fights and unfair upgrade costs. The game is ridiculously fun and I wish I were skilled enough to play it. There is a ton of detail in this game, most of which focuses on challenge. I would like to see more detail based on fair reward for challenges. Currency is needed for upgrades and is always in short supply, why not get more for beating challenges? I really hope that this game makes it to V1.0 because it has a potential for greatness.
One of those times i wish there was non binary review system. This is early access allright but a VERY early one, bugs are everywhere and then some. There is no attempt at balance, some mechanics don't make sense and ammount of grind you need for unlocking items is quite a bit imo. Ill change it to positive later but you should wait on it to be in better state.
I felt like a whole lot was lacking, until i found out it was early access. This game has a whole lot of potential. Artstyle and combat is great, and you can make some pretty good synergies. As of now, it is not very much to do, other than grinding for talents. Beat the boss on my third try, with maybe 80% of the talent tree locked. Looking forward to see what this game brings, it has a ton of potential.
Tons of fun with a lot of wit and charm! I am thoroughly enjoying myself and find that it is a great blend of being challenging and offering upgrades along your path with every run offering a new fun experience trying out all of the different swords that are keeping it fresh!
really fun with lots of potential, the combat is really satisfying, worth trying if you're into progression and combat games.
Combat feels a bit weird, but uuh, rigid, but the idea is great. Love me guy with sword game, can't wait for more updates :D
