A Roguelike arcade shooter that embraces beauty in simplicity. It has a permanent unlock system element that doesn't feel too grindy to level up, and quickly start playing at harder difficulties. It's fun, and challenging, but mostly fair. Plays perfect on Steam Deck.
Highly addictive. I had a lot of fun unlocking the characters and seeing the effects of new upgrades. I can't wait to see what future updates will bring. Huge potential. The music is on loop in my head!
One of the most fun games I've played this year! Good challenge, cool weapons and really addictive. Highly recommended for fans of Vampire Survivors and Geometry Wars. Can't wait to play some more.

I'm a sucker for VS-type games. This game caught my attention with its retro graphics and I have to say I enjoyed my time so far. The game play feels a little more boxy than I like (I am very aware of the grid as I play) but the visuals are charming and the gameplay loop is competent. Looking forward to seeing what the patches bring.
Similar to Vampire Survivors, anyone who enjoys the bullet hell genre will enjoy this. The music is great and there is enough replayability to keep you coming back.
TLDR: Starts out fun but ultimately is frustrating. I have played a lot of roguelite games very similar in nature to this game, check out my profile. Having to gamble to unlock characters in a game that I already paid for is a bad choice but that is a subjective opinion, but overall it's not a bad game and for the price its great. I do reccomend this game but it has its problems well for me at least. Full review below. Ill start out with the usual pros and cons. Then give you my overall conclusion. Pros: Easy to learn. Fun to progress early. Well designed skills and buffs. (mostly more below). A goodish meta progress system. (it has its problems though more below). Simple pixle graphics that are perfect for this type of game. (It really looks good for what it is). Music is good if you like that sort of thing. Cons: Ultimately frustrating to play. (Just not fun) Way to much RNG base to be fun (explained in more detail below). Does not respect your time (grindy for not much return explained in more detail below). Fails to deliver. This game promises a variety of ways to play, different skills, characters and bonuses but then forces you to play a certain way or you just lose. (That was my experience at least your experience may differ Ultimately it might just be a skill issue with me). Having to gamble to unlock playable characters is a bad choice imo There are to many weapons that feel useless or just not fun to play. (To me at least). Way to many choices per roll upon level up. (More below) Conclusion: This game starts out being fun but ultimately is boring. The RNG late game is terrible making it frustrating and not fun. I have had numerous runs where I have rolled well over 30 rerolls and skips to not get what I need late game. The need to invest into movement speed late game makes this game a joke, not being able to doge/outrun bosses or elites because your movement speed is to low is bad design. This game forces you to play a certain way or you just lose. Having to gamble to unlock playable characters is a bad choice imo. Its grindy as hell with no real return on your investment of time, this game does not repsect your time (I still feel this way but may change my opinion). Edit: I saw some guides and comments on the deep late game being more fun and that the infinite upgrades can make some skills really strong. This still does not make it fun it takes to long to realize this and well from a lot of the negative reviews I quit about the same time as a lot of experienced roguelite players so my experience is very similar to theirs. Second Edit: After some interaction with the Dev who is genuinely trying to make this a better game I have changed my opinion to reccomend this game with the above caveates. If you got this far thanks for taking the time to read this review. Cheers.
It's ok, but it needs work before I can recommend it. It doesn't have any outstanding flaws but it's lacking any real complexity, the devs should consider some additional layer of systems to make one run a little more different from another. I'm leaving my recommendation up because I don't want to tank their exposure but I do hope the game expands a bit.
It's a VS-like. Give this a shot if you like this genre. It's entertaining enough for the price. Enemies become damage sponges a little past midway point but it's all doable.
