Swarmcade

In my opinion this is one of the best games in the roguelite-genre that I've played, even though at the moment of this review there is only 1 level with 2 difficulties available. The graphics are simple, put nice and fit the theme. All weapons are decent to good at max level, but some are terrible at level 1 (looking at you lightsword) and I haven't found an overpowered weapon or weapon combinations (yet) like what breaks most other VS-like games. Two common complaints from other players are that the sound can be pretty loud and that they think the speaking voice is annoying. I don't mind those at all, but if you do, you can just turn them off or at lower volume in the settings, so that shouldn't be a reason to not play this game in my opinion Last thing to note is that the developer is very active in the discussions and open to criticism and ideas. This helps a lot since this game is still in the very early stages. I'd say that it's already worth the 4 euros, since I had fun the whole 8 hours that i've played this game.

Grindy but fairly fun survivor game with loads of unlocks and secrets

Once you have levelled up a few upgrades, it gives the same dopamine rush as VS. Very addictive too. Quite a lot of weapons, items and upgrades already. Looking forward to future updates.
