The free web version keeps getting updates while this paid version seems to be abandoned. Save yourself some money and use the free version

Its a shame that this is the paid verson of this app, as it is far inferior to the free web-version. I got in to logic puzzles trough Cracking the Cryptic on YT and i was under the impression that i was buying a more advanced version of the app. Alot of puzzles does not work. That does not seem to be the case. Untill there has been some updated to the steam version i do not recommend buying it. Here are a cople of things that was inferior to the webversion; No "fog" in "fog-puzzles", less color options, tiny rule-box (and sometimes no rules at all). Hope it gets fixed as i love the idea.

I found CTC's youtube channel the other day and enjoyed playing the variant sudokus from the videos. I downloaded this game to find that my expectations were not met. There's barely any puzzles by default, and only classic sudoku puzzles seem to be supported. There's reviews from the game's release asking for variant sudoku support, and 2.5 years later it seems those requests are still not fulfilled. I will be sticking to the web version going forward, but I hope that this app can receive more support in the future.

Sadly as others say, free web app sudokupad.app is much better. Sven Neumann, please update the app to match the web version or delete it from steam entirely.

Don't get this app. The web version of Sven's Sudokupad is great, and continuously updated with more features and made compatible with new puzzle types. The steam app, on the other hand, is outdated and useless. Don't waste your money, use the website.

I use the mobile app version and it's great. Web version also great. This version? Abandoned, missing features of the other versions, and buggy. I hate leaving a negative review since I like the other versions, but do not waste your time or money with this one. Use the web version instead, or the mobile app.
