Reviews
this game is basically a visual novel with excel spreadsheet involved, but a few critque i must say are: 1. unrealistic financial system: is there no tax in this game? there is simply no regular income in this game and you only get money through certain events, which breaks every immersion as you play through multiple years and you are supposed to have more money as tax season comes and goes 2. broken story: if you pick your options with a combination that the devs didnt expect during their development, it is very likely that some stories will simply not show up at all, or be extremely schizo, for my gameplay the war with rumburg went very well, but next event suddenly told me that the enemy has surrounded my palace and i am going to be executed, which is just flatout weird. overall the game is fun, but the gameplay is very long. so that also is a minus point.

For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 23 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 14 places towards #1, and the 2,515 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

This has to be the best game I have played in a VERY long time.
finally got my hand to buy the game properly. Not so proud of it but alas game as good as this should be bought by everyone
his is, in my opinion, the best political simulation game available. Sure, there are games like Geopolitical Simulator or Democracy that take a deeper approach to economics, but when it comes to domestic politics and foreign diplomacy, nothing currently comes close to this gem. Suzerain takes place in a fictional world where you play as the president of Sordland, a country heavily inspired by Turkey. After years of dictatorship and political unrest, you've just been elected to lead the nation. From start to finish, every decision you make has consequences. There are three main political paths to follow, along with countless subplots and dilemmas that shape your presidency. While the economic system is fairly simple, you still have to manage major projects, pass laws, and navigate parliament to build the country you envision assuming your proposals are approved and you don't lose all of your political support. The Kingdom of Rizia DLC expands on this formula by letting you rule a nation inspired by countries such as Saudi Arabia and the UAE. The campaign is longer, and even the events of the main game influence the current timeline. Once again, there are three main routes, numerous subplots, and a simple but enjoyable warfare system where your previous decisions determine the size and composition of your army. I absolutely loved this game, and I'm hopeful that more DLCs will be released in the future.
1. Every meeting is just people explaining why my last decision was catastrophic, followed by asking me to make another impossible decision with even worse consequences. 2. The game claims your choices matter. They do. They matter because every option unlocks a unique flavor of national disaster. 3. I gave the citizen more freedom and less government, but they want more government intervention. 4. People really are retarded. 100/10 realistic. A Morgna wes core! Glovurius axa Rizia!
The best political sim game I’ve ever played. The branching choices are huge, the dialogue is rich and detailed, and for some reason, the main plot mirrors the political situation in my own country xD makes it so relatable haha. As for the UI, it could be more interactive like having a flowchart for player choices to make tracking easier for achievement hunting. 9/10 ⭐
Detailed and immersive - also the soundtrack is phenomenal
