Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
Charts
Each storefront's own chart, in its own country — the closest public signal to sales where none is published. A country missing from a list is one we don't collect there, not one where the game doesn't chart.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 1.71/day in the week to Sep 7 → 24.57/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 24 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,404 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.
About
Welcome home! The award-winning sci-fi city builder is back - remastered, expanded, and more stunning than ever. Your mission: colonize Mars and survive the process, from exploration and infrastructure to welcoming human colonists and achieving long-term stability. There are new challenges to overcome, new strategies to plan, and now with an upgraded look and feel for a new generation of explorers.
All you need for this relaunched mission to create a thriving Martian settlement is a steady supply of resources, oxygen, decades of training, experience with sandstorms… and a curious attitude to discover the purpose of those weird black cubes that appeared out of nowhere. With a bit of sprucing up, this place is going to be awesome!
Surviving Mars: Relaunched brings together the original colony management game from Haemimont Games, its entire catalogue of expansions, improved and reworked, from major expansions to cosmetics and radio stations, as well as the all-new Martian Assembly update. Upgraded graphics together with updated UI will give veteran players the definitive Surviving Mars experience, and provide an ideal launch point for new commanders as well.
Are you ready? Mars is waiting for you.
The new Martian Assembly brings an expanded endgame challenge never seen in the original. Shape your Martian society through laws. Balance the needs and demands of your colonists, keep the peace and develop a long-term plan for Mars - up to and including independence from Earth!

Building a thriving colony on a planet not fit for human life brings its own challenges. Construct life-support systems, power grids, domes, and supply chains, and keep them running, because blackouts on a planet without oxygen are never a good idea. And you’re not alone. With the included ‘Space Race’ expansion, rival colonies backed by competing sponsors add even more pressure as you fight for resources and the future of Mars.

Balance critical resources like oxygen, water, power, and food to keep your colony alive. Drones build and maintain your infrastructure, while the revamped ‘Martian Express’ adds trains that move people and supplies across longer distances. Every colonist has their own needs and behaviors and smart management is essential for their survival.

Advance your colony through a deep research system that unlocks new buildings, production methods, and essential upgrades. Discover breakthroughs, resources, and hidden secrets reaching ‘Below & Beyond’ the Martian surface. With randomized maps, varied sponsors, and unpredictable Mysteries, every playthrough offers new challenges, and every decision shapes your story of survival and growth on Mars.

Terraforming is no longer a distant dream, it’s your next challenge. With the included ‘Green Planet’ expansion, you can engineer Mars into a more habitable world. As the environment transforms, introduce animal life with ‘Project Laika’, bringing the first creatures to thrive alongside your colonists. The future of Mars isn’t just survival, it’s building a self-sustaining, living planet.

For someone who already owned the previous game and all its expansions, I felt ripped off when buying this one. First of all, not only does it come with very few additional features, but it also has more bugs than the previous game — including bugs that had already been fixed. That is ridiculous. Secondly, the bare minimum they should have done for players who owned the base game and all expansions was to offer at least the first expansion for free. Having to pay again for a game that is almost identical to what you already own, with even more bugs, and then having to spend extra money to access the “new content” they claimed would exist in the base game, is simply absurd. The game has the same dome-to-dome connection limitations, the same visual bugs, and the same broken mechanics. It’s just sad. I believe the game has a lot of potential, but the way customers were treated makes it feel like we were made fools for buying it.

It's really hard to recommend this version of Surviving Mars right now. Cons: - Bugs, bugs everywhere. UI bugs, soft locking, constant hangs and glitches. - Poor performance, worse than the original. - Lack of QOL mods that made the original better that aren't present here. Pros: - Graphics quality is marginally better, but nothing worth another purchase. - All the content in one package, all radios and expansions are here. - New politics mechanic is interesting, but the extra buildings feel like a waste. Conclusion - Now the only version you can buy, Relaunched offers everything in one package, but that package is dripping with bugs and performance issues that ultimately have me returning to the original game. If you don't mind dealing with bugs, I give it a tentative recommendation, but that's not most people.
They now want me to pay again to rebuy the same game I already own. Paradox Interactive is the sleaziest publisher in the gaming industry.
Basically the same game as before, with some improvements and detailed political gameplay. I like the game, but for those who have the previous version, it's just bug fixes and little else.
9 hours in and I have lost 3 rockets to the take off bug. And another rocket that always have 7 tourists on board, they will probably die of old age inside that rocket. DO NOT BUY.
Having played the original and owning all its dlcs, I do like some of the improvements that relaunched adds over the original, however, its also way more unstable than the original, I managed to get around 14 hours in a save but know anytime I open that save and try to see the surface of mars, it crashes after a few seconds, I haven't had an issues like that in the original game, there's also bugs where items can get stuck in spots where your drones can't get to ever so they get stuck in a loop trying to pick them up. the new graphics do look nice but that's like the biggest change if possible try to get the original game with its dlcs, especially if you have an Intel card like I do.
After patch 1.07 now it is very playable. Originally I had only Surviving Mars + GP so this was great deal for me with 50% discount. Definitely recommend for new players and veterans who did not play with Astroid, Trains, and Underground DLCs. They are really fun. Originally there were so many issues that I uninstalled it more than few times until now. Plus mods were not available as much as in the original. Only worth when on discount if you played original. I really wished they would have added more challenges especially with Astroid, Trains, and Underground. It was disappointing to not have any new challenges.
So I bought this relaunched version expecting that the bugs from original game would be fixed. Sadly they are not they just added new bugs into the game. So if you considering to buy this "Relaunch" do know that you buy very bugged game with changed visuals from the originals - cant say that they are better...
"Notice: Surviving Mars is no longer available on the Steam store." Yeah, the BEST solution is to re-release a bug-fixed version for 5x the price of the actual game.... REFUNDED! Terms of use on the initial Menu screen with a REJECT option but you HAVE TO ACCEPT. Why to give REJECT button there if it does actually nothing?! Jeeeeeeeees..... If you have the first release, play that with the DLCs... This one is NOT WORTH THE PRICE AT ALL. Either wait for 90% discount or pass it.
