Prices
The United States storefront in every case, so this compares stores and not countries.
Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
Every market we collect.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 1.29/day in the week to Aug 8 → 1.43/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,402 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

While the gameplay is amazing, the removal of an entire story that connects to the gameplay and even critiques the simple concept of the game along the way is depressing. I understand the intentions the developer has and wishes for the game to be a simple arcade shooter, but in reality they created a game that is much larger than that and sometimes that isn't a bad thing. For that reason I can't recommend this game to others as the key emotional journey the game provides no longer exists.
Love the game but, cant give it a thumbs up in good conscience when such an integral part of the story has been forcibly ripped out of the game with no care under the guise of "being more sensitive." Not great.

The reason for the "off topic" reviews is they removed a chunk of the story and customers weren't happy about it. All those negative reviews were completely justified
removed the story, a defining chunk of the game prior to 2021
I loved this game on launch, but they've since removed the majority of the story with no way to reimplement it. It is incredibly anti-consumer to remove something from a product that people paid for, especially in a single-player game where no servers or updates need to be kept up to keep the game running. I wish you could play the original version, because I would still give that game two thumbs up. As it stands, I'll just make sure to never buy from this developer again.
I used to say this was the best game for VR, but I can no longer recommend you buy the game from Steam, as the Steam version has had vital content cut and no longer recommend you purchase it here. I would recommend you find and play a version from prior to 2021, although Steam is not currently selling it on this storefront.
eh, its okayish, not that great. find it funny that the devs released a update so stupid they never made another game
Superhot VR. Ok , this game is great!...kind of. The combat, the visuals, but somthing that ticks me off is the difficulty and the unfair progression. You have to go around dodging if a red NPC is holding a saw-off shotgun OR YOU ARE DEAD. and if you fail at the last second you start from square one. There should be checkpoints for EACH ROOM if you are going to make a game that difficult. Overall, this game is not for me. or i should just git gud lol
steam removed the story from the game so there's no point in playing anymore
Time only moves when you do, which sounds cool until you realize your brain is not built for this level of multitasking. You’re basically dodging bullets in slow motion while trying not to punch your own monitor. Every level feels like a stylish puzzle mixed with an action movie scene you absolutely did not rehearse for. It’s clean, simple, addictive, and somehow makes you feel both like a genius and an idiot at the same time.
