This game is criminally underrated, the first Squidlit was good, but this. This is a masterpiece. It takes everything that was good about squidlit and makes it superer, and it really really has that retro gameboy color feel. So much charm, and they basically quadrupled the content from their first game. 10/10
The game is really good. It improves on the simple formula of the first game but adding a roll that has I-frames and can bounce on walls so you can jump indefinitely on vertical walls. The problem is that I didn't see any tutorial for that and even though I realized that as soon as I got the ability, some players may get stuck on some parts where this knowledge is necessary. My only complaint is the ''Doom'' part. I mean, it's a good idea but I think it was implemented kinda poorly. The enemies would sometimes just stick to me dealing constant damage and I could barely get out. The last boss was VERY janky. I know says that I should hide and I did after trying to trade blows, but then I caught the boss from behind and they didn't move at all, I just sat there dealing damage and they didn't turn even when I stopped attacking them. Maybe it was a bug but even so, I think it'd be better if this mechanic was implemented in a third game: Squidlit 64. Overall, the game is great! *hugs*

I loved the first Squidlit game, but I can't get passed the controls in this one. There is a lot of charm with Super Squidlit, and the story isn't half bad, but the lack of option to change the controls ruins the experieence for me; especially during the 3D-like sections. I'd pass on this one and just go play the original Squidlit.
A really fun game with cuteness overload and cool gameplay! I hope this game will sometime gain more popularity because its really good!
Not as good as the first one, only because the retro dungeon parts are really too many and I really didn't like them. At some point I was questioning which one was the main game. It still deserve a positive review tho because it's a game worth supporting.
Out of 5 stars id give it a 4 for one reason. When you play as the tall guy it's very hard to play and maneuver without dying multiple times but the rest of the game is pretty good!
The game was fan, had good art, and lots of variety.
I love this sequel so much, such bright colors, and awesome little pixel animations. very cute and satisfying gamplay with easy to understand mechanics, lots of little encounters to have with random npcs along the way. My favorite is the old grandma squid in the rock alcove offering me a muffin to replenish my health. what a nice old squid. SKWIT KWOT is a female? oh la la. i really love that character. so funny. PLAY THIS GAME.
This is everything you could want from a sequel: The same charming character-/dialogue-writing and sweet world but with lots of new gameplay mechanics, a longer runtime, and just a lot of cuteness. I usually very much dislike platforming-heavy games, but this one and it's prequel have won my heart. here's to the next one!
EVEN better than the firsr Squidlit. I LOVE the retro feel AND the addition of the second character's gameplay, not to mention their dynamics! 9/10 if not a 10/10 experience. NOW, with that said, the controls on the computer can be a bit jank if you have trouble with alternating between spacebar and shift with one hand or the other (since it would be better with bindable keys), but the game is an experience people should absolutely play!
