fantastic baseball game that strikes the balance between arcade and sim

Nice mix between sim and arcade style of baseball. Many modes to play through. Edit characters and teams (basically make your own MLB if you want). Franchise, season, exhibition, all the regulars are here. Except for home run derby. Sadly it is not in it. Or I haven't found it, but I looked everywhere. Still a fun game that any baseball fan would enjoy I think.

Game is full of input-scanning, speedhack deploying, pixel shifting ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ ♥♥♥♥ AI. If you score too many runs the game randomly "loses game file" and you have to play the same ball game again. If you have a few sluggers on your team, the AI gets ass-blasted and hits your star players, but you will lose team morale if you retaliate. It doesn't register sacrifice flies, either, apparently to help ruin your team stats if you play small-ball. Power swings are inconsistent as you can have the same pitch type and location with 99 power be a frozen rope out of the park for a contact hitter, but a powerhouse will 99 Great Contact and barely make it to the outfield. Stupid ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥.
