Super Lesbian Animal RPG

I'm genderfluid and JRPGs are my favorite game genre. My friends used to know me as the JRPG guy, I became the JRPG they/them, and playing this is helping be to be more confident as a JRPG woman. (genuinely amazing game so far, the characters are great and the soundtrack is banger.)

Proof that games are extra good when they are extra woke. Bought this because with a title like that, how could you not? Naturally, it delivers on everything the name promises. A very sweet, funny and emotional story with some wonderful characters in a well-realized and creatively crafted world. The gameplay itself is a nice, casual RPG experience that still requires proper strategy, which is ideal for me. The music also slaps, but so does basically everything about this game. I hope to see more great things from this team in the future.

This is an incredible game. It is solidly made, solidly written with characters I could care for, has some of my now-favorite music, and it brought a smile to my face almost the entire time I played it(when I wasn't bawling my eyes out over fictional furries). If you aren't interested in furries yourself I would encourage you to still give it a shot as it would still be a well-written story even if it were a bunch of humans instead of animals, but regardless I hope the devs are proud because this was a wonderful experience that I would kill for more of. Plus, ya know, lesbians. That's pretty cool in my book.

I voice acted this with a bunch of good friends. its was the most fun I've ever had in my whole life. and then I saw the tumblr post saying there'd be more and exploded. I should drink the wizard moonshine. would lesbian again.

Exactly what it says on the tin--it's an RPG, full of anthropomorphic animal characters, many of whom are lesbians. SLARPG is an RPG Maker project that appears to be heavily inspired by the heyday of 16-bit console JRPGs. Not super long, and there's not much to replay for as far as I can tell, but the writing is peak, and while I already can't remember any of the music off the top of my head, it was still quite effective at setting the atmosphere in game. Great fun, clearly a labor of love.
