Create unique builds by combining weapons, gear, tools, and enchantments to suit your playstyle. Whether you’re a gun-blazing risk-taker or a careful strategist, the choice is yours. Adapt your approach, experiment, and survive the dangers of Sulfur.

Enter a world packed with relentless action, powerful firearms, and dynamic FPS combat, where unpredictable enemies lurk in every shadow. Arm yourself with an array of weapons that can be modified and enchanted with a vast range of attachments and effects.
As you explore, uncover hidden secrets, collect valuable loot, and discover rare treasures – but tread carefully. Every decision counts: the gear you bring may be lost if you fail, and the equipment you leave behind won't be there when you need it most. Risk and reward are tightly intertwined in every choice you make.

Experience the atmosphere, suspense and tribulation of a world in redemption. What happened? And why? Travel through eerie caverns, sordid Black Guild shanties, putrid sewers and pass through castle walls and beyond. Go deeper, head on. Answers come to those who listen.

Explore, discover, uncover. On your adventure you encounter strange creatures in unexpected places—pay attention to their warnings. Whether they despise, admire, or ignore you, your path is yours to forge. Stay alert; these encounters may offer insights, but ultimately, it’s up to you to push forward and find the answers you seek.

A bloodstained white collar
Dirt on your shoes
Your shoulders are aching
Is this but a ruse?
A coven is suspect
A church is aflame
Who is the culprit?
Who is to blame?

Twisting turning
Mouth is dry,
Eyes are burning
But you must tread on,
There is no remorse

На удивление нормальный экстракшен шутер даже не смотря на графику и стиль игры плюс обновления выходят прям огромные с последующими хотфиксами, поэтому багов в игре толком нет

For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 24 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,404 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Very good FPS with some extraction shooters elements.
heheheheheheh salamander pistol with summoning ice snakes and shotgun creating clouds of gas all my enemies will taste my poisoned wrath for i am a lizard furry with the cards of chaos, the city will die and rot under my power, I will reclaim the land and save the ones in need of salvation and the priest has arrived HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAH1
I'm not going to say it's a hard recommend, but it's not been a SUPER easy one either. Largely because of ONE thing that bothers me, which is the cooking. Sulfur is a fascinating game, and probably one of the few "Looter shooter" likes I enjoy. Well, it's more styled as Extraction Shooter. You go in to a place, you get loot, you get your (leave condition), and you back out safely or keep going until level end. SOmetimes Level End takes you back to the hub (The Church), sometimes it takes you to another level. It usually takes you to another level, actually, once you're past the cave. If you die, you lose all the stuff you had on you. I suppose the twist here, is that this is one of those rare PvE 'Extraction Shooters', and it has an emphasis on trying to break weapons in a way that renders them far stronger than they ought to be, with the occasional dip into silliness of "WOuldn't it be ♥♥♥♥♥♥ up if your gun was a bit weird?" to "This gun's weirdness is a fatal flaw.", though the latter tends to show up far less. Given that this game's thing seems to be experimenting, I find that the actually BAD guns encourage you to experiment and ♥♥♥♥ around with the games mechanics to *get use out of them.* The Ripox Mowlock is one of my favourite guns for this reason. It's such an awkward gun to play around, but it's pretty funny and good when you do. Really, the ultimate limit is the player's expression in how well they understand Oils, Enchantments, and ATtachments. How many oils and enchantments you can put on a gun scales with its max level (up to 5!), and usually by the time you get one or two levels on a gun, you begin to get a feel for what you'll need to make up for a weapons weakness. The issue therein is that there's always going to be good and bad. Some oils are just genuinely kind of bad, some enchantments are just kind of bad. Maybe there's just something I haven't picked up on, or some kind of use. One thing I forgot to mention is that there's kits that let you change the ammo type you load into a gun. You can take MOST guns and change what ammo type the fire. If you want to, you could change a shotgun to fire single rounds of 9mm, 5.56, or 7.62, or even .50 BMG. There's niches to play around with that, across different guns. Other bad guns, like the Flicker, can still find their use - a Scroll of Explosive (combine TWO fire scrolls, thank me later.) will become an incredibly useful utility item that only takes 1 slot and uses the easiest to find ammo type, now you get free loot from cracked walls so long as you have that. That's the thing that makes this game the most interesting. The actual gameplay is... fine. A lot of the guns feel pretty good to shoot, they have good animations, really it's just the enemies and environments that are the weak parts. They can get a bit samey, which *points at current hours*, that and the humour isn't always great. The humour is at its best when you're laughing at the very silly guns. Like that one Assault Rifle type gun that fires fast, kicks hard, and only has 10 rounds, each of which are top loaded mags loaded onto the gun diagonally. I think my biggest issue with this game is the /cooking./ A lot of recipes I haven't been able to come to myself? Maybe that's because I don't know the first ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ thing about cooking. But there's a lot of recipe chains and weird little annoyances that waste resources or my time. And cooking is how you actually get healing items in this game! I ended up just consulting the wiki, I'll be so real, I'm not going to sit down and try to figure out why I can't put cheese on bread. Bread and cheese doesnt make a cheese sandwich? Bread and butter and cheese doesnt? But Chocolate spread and Bread makes a peanut butter sandwich. There's not a lot of guiding the player to helping them find recipes on their /own/. That's my big frustration. Randomly banging food items together until I find something that works isn't my kind of fun - if I wanted to do that I'd sit at a keypad and type in number combinations until a door opens, or I get grabbed by the cops. You do find recipes now and then, but it isn't certain that it'll be for something you don't know, and recipe books (when they show up for purchase) are very rare and *very* expensive. Just a little gentle guidance, a vague "Maybe if you put something diary or meat here...", that sort of thing, would eliminate the big reason I put this game down. Till then, I'll keep using the wiki.

Such a wonderful game. It's very high tempo and customizable, amazing example of what roguelike dungeon shooters could be! My only gripe is that my friends cant join me playing it
This game doesnt get enough attention. I've played it in its earlier form to now and the devolopers seem to really listen to the players and bring updates that make it even more entertaining. Please keep it up and thank you guys for the hard work!
