Modeled estimate, not a reported figure. How we estimate →
Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Charts
Each storefront's own chart, in its own country — the closest public signal to sales where none is published. A country missing from a list is one we don't collect there, not one where the game doesn't chart.
No United States chart position — it charts only in the markets below.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 1.57/day in the week to Sep 2 → 2.43/day in the week after.

The legendary KONAMI JRPGs Suikoden I and Suikoden II have now been remastered in HD!
The Story of Suikoden I
A once renowned hero turns into a violent tyrant, and an empire falls into decline.
A Liberation Army is rising up in an act of rebellion against an oppressive rule.
One by one the 108 stars of Destiny gather to shape the course of history.
The Story of Suikoden II
Our story's hero and his friend Jowy are members of the Unicorn Youth Brigade, which participated in a drawn-out border dispute between the Highland Kingdom and the City-States of Jowston .
A few months earlier, a truce agreement was signed between the two forces, both of which were happy to see an end to the fighting.
However, hidden under the momentary peace the fires of a new war continued to smolder…

Excellent Remaster, unlike some other ones I could name. The Combat Speed Up option is an especially good QoL addition.

14 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Aug 30: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 24 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,404 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Played back in the day. Not let down at all! Loved this game then and loving it now. I do wish there was a way to just use the keyboard and mouse, but controllers are plug and play now, so it's all good!
Suikoden 1 is really good but... SUIKODEN 2 IS PEAK
Of course I recommend Suikoden, ultimately these two games are still to this day my favorite JRPGs of all time! I'm absolutely enthralled within their story as if I were 6 years old again... These two were the first true sequels that I can remember, and to see them re-released in 4K brings me so much joy! If you've never played them please don't sleep on them. Personally there are only two other JRPGs that even compare to them which are Chrono Trigger and Rogue Galaxy, but Suikoden I & II still hold up today better than most recent released games. The blend of Turn-Based Combat, RTS style large scale battles, and 1v1 dialogue based combat has been touched since... Plus the ability to actually carry over the save from the first game's completion to allow you to find your main character and recruit them in the second is such an amazing thing. I promise, if you take the leap you won't be disappointed.
PC control is trash, needs to be fixed. Good nostalgia, though
This is a classic that I remember from a long time off, it's still a wonderful storyline.
Unplayable, I cant push the Mitilda/Muse border open. Canceled.
1はストーリーはいいけど、あとはしんどい。 2のために我慢してプレイしよう。 2は今でも十分面白い。 ストーリーが特にいい。
