very unique game enjoyed it. I liked it more with lore and gameplay than the thing it was "ripping off" with artstyle
Confused it with Loop Hero. Was fun tho. Would be confused again.
This is an amazing game for a very niche audience. It may look like Loop Hero, but it plays nothing like it. For those familiar with the idle games scene, this is very similar to Idle Loops. Essentially, this is an idle - not an incremental - detective game. The end goal is to solve the mystery behind the time loop. The main problem is that the game requires too much babysitting for those looking for a full idle experience, and is too grindy for those just interested in the story. However, if you can see the appeal of both worlds - grindy idle and mystery plot - this game is perfect. Just plan your actions, leave the game running while you do something else, and check back once in a while. Finding the answers about the time loop and reaching the true ending is very satisfying.

Love this game. It's rare an idle game so well made. As a suggestion: Adding a loop chronometer and other run status would be a great addition
Barely recommended. I played it for 118 hours only because I wanted all the achievements. After I got them, I won't play again, there is nothing more to do. I love the concept very much. At first the game was very enjoyable. Then I began to find the UI annoying. Reorganizing a fragment of a long loop is a real pain. I really miss the ability to comfortably edit, save and paste fragments of the list of instructions. The map is small. The story is short and predictable but at least it is cohesive. I would like to see much more content and some work on the UI, sadly that wish won't come true. All in all, the game could be great but is barely good.
Incremental RPG adventure in a Time loop context The mechanics , the lore, interactions and multiple functionnalities are hidden behind a veil of mysteries which is done well (tunic / blue prince / fez )
I enjoyed this game a bit until I realized I don't have infinite lifetime.
I really like this! I don't play many idle games but the gameplay seems unique and it's a pretty ideal balance between active management and background idling. If there's a sequel someday I would love to play it!
Game is worth $3 I paid. Active for 2/3 of the time to path the character. Idle for a while to increase skill of character or tile. Repeat and explore.
Stuck in Time is a very well made dark fantasy time loop game from 2021 with a similar pixel art palette to that year's Loop Hero. My spouse and I deeply enjoy the depth the game derives from four directions and three actions that you build into programs for the PC to run. There's some excellent 'aha' moments where you find some new bit of information that lets you re-optimize your entire run. That said, the game is often bloody, the fog of war density is weird, and which action button is needed for progress is not always telegraphed well in advance. I am in no way interested in completing all the achievements available for this game, as they require the looping character to have a needlessly high body count. Just not a play style that I'm interested in.
