Never ever play this game.... besides the fact thats without paying you make no chance on this game the worst thing is that it is completely subject to cheats, bots, bugs and above all a publisher Firefly who doesnt care at all. It's gotten to a point where its just ridiculous. Some players have found ways to hack the game and caue you to loose commection with the game while beeing attacked making it impossible to even defend yourself. Then there are bots, people logging in remotely on players they play with ensuring 24/7 presence on an account and the list goes on and on. A defnite "No buy"and do not play.

Okay, so it's a good game; it has its nicer sides and its rougher sides. First of all, this game rewards consistency; those players that consistently return every day get relatively strong after a few months (if you pay money, it could even be weeks). It is, however, clearly an older game; its age shows in many aspects. Even if it still looks clean, it is also not pay-to-win, but paying does give a clear advantage in the speed you grow, and if you just throw tons of money into the game, you could reach the leaderboards in no time (a few days or weeks). I, however, am tired of the game; it's nice and all, but it's just a bit endless. You are very unlikely to become one of the best players unless you are chronically online, and if you make a few bad decisions with how you treat your neighbors, you might even get completely erased from the map. Again, it's not a bad thing, but it's not my cup of tea. A quick tip if you want to get into it: writing a friendly in-game mail to your neighbors can instantly make your power skyrocket. If someone attacks you and you can't defend yourself with a strong castle, then defend yourself with words (in a friendly way). Also, don't overobsess on the war side of your progress tree; if you do, your economy will be incredibly weak and your progress will stall. War in this game tends to lead to more damage to yourself than you actually gain, so use it as a last resort. Nobody benefits from a long war; keep your fights short and decisive. -SEMVAL
