Fantastic game that is faithful to the originals. Plays really well on deck, replaying feels different with each character, the moveset has enough variation that you can be smart on how you use specials or moves with invincible frames. Love it. Own on multiple platforms. Hope they can bring out another one soon.

Fun and at times difficult coop brawler. Takes me back to the 90s!

It's kind of boring. Too simplistic. And the entire plot is extremely dull, on top of having no voice acting or animations. Scream "cheap cash grab". Streets of Rage was never a masterpiece, but this entry seriously brings the entire IP down.
9/10 worth it even at full price. but would wait for a deal (gets as low as 5$ for base game. 8.50$ for Mr x DLC with game) has a charm and scratches an itch you might have. and a good game to play with friends for a few hours. but isn't super repayable beyond that. i think there's a lack of depth in the combat itself. but its not braindead either. there are combos to learn for each character. but it isn't like Tekken obviously, where you can make your own routes on most characters. you'll realistically just be doing the same combo, maybe 2. and pressing x and y with 2-3 directional inputs for a few hours. but honestly maybe that's okay, maybe every game doesn't need to have insane amounts of depth- its easier to pick up i suppose enemy variety, OST, general art style, stability are all 10/10
