“The Olders, they come to eat the Children…” All of the adults have become monsters, the rumors say. Nowhere is safe outside these walls. Welcome to Stray Children — a bittersweet, fairy tale RPG.

Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0.14/day in the week to Jul 31 → 0.29/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.
About
From the creators of beloved cult-classic videogames including Moon: Remix RPG Adventure, Chulip, and Rule of Rose, comes Stray Children: a bittersweet fairy tale adventure that will change the way you think about “children” and “adults”.

What would you do if all the adults you know suddenly started attacking you?
This is the story of children who try to survive and thrive in a world just like this, every day of their lives.
Somewhere, in our world, there’s a secret room, in a secret place, filled top to bottom with ancient technology.
When one young boy flips the switch on a curious old console, they’re suddenly whisked away, through the screen, into a very strange somewhere else: a long-since forgotten role playing game.
Blinking awake in this peculiar new place, they find themselves in a land of children.
Outside this stronghold’s walls lurk The Olders: monstrous adults, carrying the heavy load of their own inadequacies, self-doubt, and all of the grievances that grown-ups gather.
Rumor has it that these creatures are starving for something, and that — out there — no one and nowhere is safe.
Can you survive in this world where half-crazed adults lurk around every corner?
It’s here — in this funny, mysterious, and wildly dangerous domain — that your story begins.

As you explore the world of Stray Children, you’ll do turn-based battle with these oddball Olders, where you can choose to fearlessly fight or use your words as weapons, landing a crushing blow with just a well-worded whisper.
Deftly dodge the relentless barrage of their bottled-up emotions, and discover the source of their strange stories. By touching their heart with your words, you might just be able to save their souls.
What other mysteries await you in this weird new world? Find out in Stray Children — an unfamiliar place, with all-too-familiar troubles.
We hope you’ll have fun discovering all the secrets of Stray Children, but we have one final request for anyone and everyone who finishes the game: please keep the ending a secret!

I'm a little salty that this dev has bait and switch'd me with the ending TWICE now
After playing through this game... wow... I have no words. I'm glad I actually spared almost every Older I could encounter in this game and experienced it all from start to finish. Even if some parts are just straight up cryptic, trust me when I say that every penny you spend on this game is worth it. It's not an Undertale clone, FAR from it. If you're going to jump into this game, I suggest having this guide open whenever you get on to play it, since it helped me quite a lot. https://gamefaqs.gamespot.com/pc/538459-stray-children/faqs/82237 9/10 Modern Classic What more could I say except everything that'll spoil what the game has to offer.

I'm going to start by saying this: You don't need to have played this game's spiritual predecessor, Moon: Remix RPG Adventure, to appreciate Stray Children - But I do think it adds something, especially if you go right from Moon into this. Stray Children is a fun and good and insightful game on its own, but there's an extra layer of conversation being had between the two games that the player won't even see if they don't know the themes of Moon. It's not necessary, but it does add richness to the experience As for Stray Children itself It's a very unique game. It's very story-heavy, which makes it difficult to speak to too much without spoiling it, but it lives up to its pedigree - there's both surreal weirdness and charm for days. The combat systems add a lot to the game - each fight involves defending via a sort of bullet-hell dodging section, and either attacking through a timing challenge or trying to tap into the enemy's emotions with the right sequence of responses. There are hints throughout the game about what the sequence to tap into emotions are, and figuring them out is honestly a very fun puzzle. Either way, as much as I enjoyed the peaceful, lumbering pace of moon, I do appreciate having more engaging gameplay in Stray Children. Overall, I recommend it immensely to folks who like surreal games, and highly to off-beat story-centric RPGs that make you think or fans of weird word puzzles. It's one that will stick with you - One of my big favorites I've played in 2026 so far, and something I'll be thinking about for a long time.
Goated game, thank you Onion Games
A really odd but definitely really good game! This is undertale if it was more puzzly, each encounter feels unique, both in how they attack and how to befriend them, it's more like a riddle, and most can be bruteforced, but it's funnier to keep a keen eye for clues everywhere on what should be said. The story and overall vibe itself is also unusual, feeling like a mix of alice wonderland and the promised neverland of all things, the adults being the main menace and the children...improvizing throught all this. It's definitely an intriguing tale to explore. This game is not for everyone, but it DO provide a unique formula, and do it really well. And if it's onion game/lovedelic final game, they ended with a real banger! Highly recommended!
Stray Children felt to me as an open letter to Moon, another game I highly recommend you play if you want to dive into Onion Games/Love-de-Lic's world. If you don't want to try it tho, I think it's totally possible to play and enjoy Stray Children on its own; this game's such a wonderful and meaningful experience that I feel directly talks to adults in its plethora of messages. I suggest you don't dive into the game with the obligation to 100% it, since it can easily become frustrating and also kinda defeats the purpose. Instead, do what you can along the road and enjoy the fantastic music, atmosphere and love the game has to offer at your own pace!
One of the only games that left me bawling my eyes out... The game really felt like an ode to life, with all the pain, happiness, sorrow, and laughter that comes with it. Just a really beautiful experience.
Onion games has done it again.
