Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 1.86/day in the week to Aug 14 → 37.29/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 23 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 14 places towards #1, and the 2,420 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.
About
Strange Jigsaws is a puzzle game where you solve strange jigsaws.
Solve around 50 or so strange jigsaws, each with their own surprising way of being solved.
Explore unusual puzzle worlds themed after jigsaws.
Enter the Jigsawverse, maybe.
This is a spiritual sequel to my game "20 Small Mazes", but it's a little bit harder.
I recommend playing the game using keyboard and mouse.
Notes on puzzle accessibility:
The game is color-blind friendly. There are two puzzles that use color and they both have a "colorblind mode" toggle on the puzzle itself.
The game has accessibility options for hard of hearing or deaf people. There are three separate track of subtitles: background music, sound effects, and voices.
Some puzzles require knowledge of English.

some strange jigsaws
What a delightfully strange little game - and as advertised, there are jigsaws!
Lovely experience, I had a lot of fun sharing my screen on discord and doing it with friends while chatting.

there are jigsaws and they are strange, but in the best possible way!
Absolutely terrific metapuzzler which reminded me a little of There Is No Game. Definitely in the same league as that gem. Lots of puzzle variety with many rewarding 'penny-drop' moments. Superb value for the price, though replay would be limited unless you waited a year to forget most of it! The dev also has a great hint site so you can get through any roadblocks without feeling like you cheated too much. If you're still unsure - check out his other (FREE!) game 20 Small Mazes. If you like that, you're a cert to love this one.
充滿創意,很有意思的遊戲
oh my god this game is so peak it's so creative and fun guys just play it already, it's so worth the time I can feel how much passion and love was put into the game!!! and the dev even made a website for the puzzle hints!!! overall the gaming experience is good!!!! I hope I can forget how to solve each piece so as to come back again!!! (I hope I won't forget the messages in the game lol)
The game's clever puzzles and accessible design make the first couple of hours enjoyable. The difficulty also hits a nice sweet spot of not too difficult but not easy. However, it's rough presentation, lack of hints, and abrupt shift into a radically different second half, make the overall experience more mixed. I still enjoyed it, and there’s enough here to recommend it for fans of the meta-narrative and puzzle genres. +++ Interesting puzzles that make you think outside the box. ++ In the sweet spot for difficulty. Not too hard not too easy. ++ Controller support. Colourblind and deafness support. Very accessible to disability. +/- This game to me feels much more like a "meta" puzzle game, than a puzzle in of itself. The true puzzle revolves around your expectations and how you interact with the game. +/- Many puzzles are "spatial puzzles", especially towards the end. I have aphantasia (no mental image), and struggle with these kinds of puzzles, that involve mentally rotating an image without seeing it. I solved many through brute force. Just a warning incase anyone else has a similar condition. +/- A bit short at 3 hours, but the price is not high either. - The UI is a bit jank, but it is serviceable. - Graphics are serviceable; feels like an early flash game. No animations or transitions or flourishes, it's very plain in presentation. - Not much music or nice sound effects. It's just raw logic experience, from start to end. - No hint system. --- There is a sudden and drastic change of tone and gameplay in the second half of the game, after about 2 hours; to the point that I will be reviewing this part of the game separately here. Don't read ahead if you care about spoilers.
* The graphics get extremely ugly. Like, MS-Paint style. It's intentional, but I didn't like it. * The puzzles no longer resemble jigsaws. They're still puzzles of course, but not jigsaws. * There is a sudden bleak, oppressive overtone in theme. The universe is ending, strange creatures and ghosts are about, and the narrator/author insert seems to suffer a psychotic break. The childlike drawings are creepy rather than endearing in this context. These themes came out of nowhere, and were off-putting to me personally.
Overall, still a good puzzle game worth playing, especially if you're a fan of "meta" narrative experiences.
Very fun game.
This was an overall very enjoyable experience to sit down and try getting gears turning in my head that have rusted over. The variety among the types of puzzles and the accompanying visual/audio styles always kept it fresh and made it feel like a lot longer of an experience than the 3 hours I put into it. There were a few times where I felt I was hitting a wall, but once I finally cracked certain puzzles it genuinely gave a sense of accomplishment that is hard to replicate; especially in the styles of games that I normally play. Though this may not be a game for everyone I would strongly advise anyone who has ever enjoyed a good head scratcher to give it a try, the homemade charm of it all felt rather heartwarming at points. No other notes, but I may come back sometime in the future when I have forgotten the solutions off the top of my head.
