Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
Charts
Each storefront's own chart, in its own country — the closest public signal to sales where none is published. A country missing from a list is one we don't collect there, not one where the game doesn't chart.
No United States chart position — it charts only in the markets below.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0.71/day in the week to Sep 3 → 3.14/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 22 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,513 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Almost 10 years ago, I played a similar Story of Seasons game, and compared with what I remember from back then, Grand Bazaar feels much more modern. I really like details such as the way the townspeople move around during their daily routines, animals interacting and playing with each other, especially the wind effects or gliding through the air on the wind. These details make the world feel much more alive. I’ve played up to the point of getting married, and while I’ve enjoyed the game, there are still some areas that leave me a little unsatisfied. The biggest one is the personalities and behavior of the townspeople. As a programmer, I can sometimes feel the game’s underlying patterns too clearly. For example, if I get married and then there is an animal contest immediately afterward, talking to a character may first trigger their marriage congratulations, followed by their dialogue about the contest results. Daily conversations also sometimes feel as though they are randomly selected from a dialogue pool based mainly on the current season or recent events. I wish more dialogue could be influenced by the player’s own actions. Every player behaves differently, so if the characters reacted more directly to what I personally did, their conversations would feel much more relevant and could resonate with me more strongly. At the moment, much of the dialogue seems to change mainly according to the season or specific events rather than according to the player's individual behavior. There are also many small interactions that could make relationships feel much more real. For example, after marriage, imagine that it is already around 9:30 p.m. and the player is still outside. It would be really nice if your partner occasionally came looking for you and said something like, “It’s getting late. Let’s go home.” Small interactions like this could make the player feel that their partner is actually aware of them and make the world feel much more alive. Another small example is dinner after marriage. When I watch my wife finish cooking and sit down to eat, I notice that there is only one serving, for her. It would make me surprisingly happy if she prepared two servings and invited me to eat together. These are very small details, but they could greatly deepen the feeling of being in a real relationship. In this age of AI, I would really love to see a future Story of Seasons game include some kind of local LLM or similar system that could select or generate dialogue based on the player's actions and relationship history. It would not need to replace hand-written dialogue, but it could make character reactions feel much more personal. One moment in this game genuinely surprised me. Even though I had enough hearts with a girl, when I gave her the Blue Feather, she refused me and told me that we still needed to spend more time talking to each other. At first, I thought this was really interesting. It made me think that there might be more to the relationship system than simply reaching a certain number of hearts. However, after a while, I realized that she had refused me simply because I had already given her a gift earlier that day, and the game only allows a character to receive one gift per day. That made me a little disappointed. I would have been much more impressed if she had refused me even though I seemed to meet all the visible requirements, simply because I had not built the kind of relationship she personally needed yet. Different characters having different emotional expectations, preferences, and reasons for accepting or rejecting the player would make relationships feel much deeper and more memorable. Overall, I really enjoy Grand Bazaar, and I can clearly see how much the series has evolved compared with the Story of Seasons games I played many years ago. I just hope future games can go even further in making the characters react to the player as an individual, rather than mainly reacting to seasons, events, and fixed relationship values.
