https://blog.naver.com/jampuri/223317616321 <- 장문의 리뷰는 이쪽. 다국적 인디 게임 개발사에서 만든 고대 로마 시대 노예 검투사 액션 게임. 노예 검투사가 되어 로마 시내를 돌아다니며 여러 상점을 이용해 캐릭터의 능력치를 강화시키고. 콜로세움에서 전투를 벌여 챔피언의 자리에 올라 자유민이 되는 이야기다. 액션 쪽은 게임 소개를 보면 고전 벨트 스크롤 액션 게임에 영향을 받았다고는 하지만, 실제로는 데미지 입은 직후의 무적 판정이 없고. 기본 공격의 콤보 요소와 잡기, 점프 공격 같은 게 없고. 전투가 벌어지는 배경은 콜로세움으로 한정되어 있어 이동 반경이 좁다 보니 스크롤이 움직이는 게 체감이 되지 않아 게임 플레이 감각은 그냥 보통 액션 게임이다. 플레이어는 사거리가 짧은 단병기만 장비 가능하고 원거리 무기인 도끼, 투창은 소비형 무기라 잔탄 제한이 있는데. 적들은 나중에 가면 일반 잡졸들이 창 들고 졸라 찔러대고, 원거리 공격도 무한으로 걸어오는 상황에, 무적 판정이 없으니 다수의 적한테 둘러 쌓여 일제 공격을 당하면 순식간에 녹아 내리듯 죽어 나가기 때문에 레벨 디자인이 썩 좋다고 볼 수는 없다. (나도 찌르는 창 쓰고 싶다고, 찌르는 창!) 하지만 전투 때 나오는 적 검투사의 복색과 무장이 역사 고증을 나름 잘 지켰고 그 종류도 매우 다양해서 보는 맛이 있고, 전투 후 로마 시내를 돌아다니며 상점을 이용하는 게 내용 구성이 워낙 알차서 잔재미가 있다. 무기, 갑옷, 방패 등 개인 장비 구입과 강화는 물론이고 전투 훈련장에 가서 스킬도 찍을 수 있고, 부적을 사거나 음식을 먹고 버프를 받거나, 사원에서 신에게 빌어 관중들의 호응 에너지를 통해 신의 권능을 발동하여 싸우기도 하고. 사자, 호랑이, 표범 등의 야수를 사서 고기를 먹여 버프시켜 전투 때 데리고 다니며 같이 싸우는 것 등등. 캐릭터 강화 요소가 다양하게 준비되어 있다. 스토리 모드의 결말도 해피 엔딩으로 깔끔하게 잘 끝나서 본작을 만든 브레인 씰이 기존에 만든 다크 퀘스트 시리즈보다 더 낫다. 다크 퀘스트 2의 최종 보스전 공략 난이도가 존나게 어려운데 힘들게 클리어한 결말이 뭐 하나 속시원하게 해결되는 거 없이 차회 예고로 끝나는 거 생각하면 진짜 같은 제작사에서 만든 게 맞나 싶을 정도다.

Маленька, відносно коротка пригода де нам пропонують взяти на себе роль гладіатора й прокласти собі шлях до слави головами своїх супротивників. Враховуючи що кампанія тут у гіршому випадку годин на 6, то обладунків, щитів, різноманітної зброї та інших приколів тут вдосталь для цього часу. Хоча й все це розмаїття у спорядженні деінде не рятує від одноманітності у битвах, при тому що гра все ж намагається викидати на вас нових супротивників, з різним оснащенням, прийомами та тактикою бою. То ж якщо ви з захопленням дивились на цих накачаних чоловіків у фігурних обладунках цей проект може стати свіжим подихом на декілька вечорів, що б нарешті перепочити від монструозності сьогоднішніх ААА проектів, у мирних кривавих розвагах часів римської імперії.
very simple and very fun, easy to learn but hard to master, i loved it and i had absolute best time playing it.
Great game , wasted hrs trying to get it working newer hardware and windows 11, but have done now, `I` have enjoyed playing through overall, in i ts way, kind of simple game play, but gets to a point of lack of depth despite it has quite a few items it often doesn't feel so much different, Still would like to see updates to it for sure.
On paper the game seems nice. But the gameplay is boring and not fun. Sound is not very good. 2/10
game hitbox sht thats for real. after taking 10 impossible hit i altf4 and refund the game. i dont need to wait next contents. game base material is sht. if anyone want same game like this download flashpoint and play Siegıus arena thats way ahead of this game and free after all
