About
Unleash your spirit as Storm, a wild stallion born from legends. Your journey starts on golden plains, where the spirit of your father, Amadeus, legendary leader and icon of freedom, appears. He reveals that real strength flows from the heart. Guided by his wisdom, you begin your quest for freedom, reconnecting with loyal friends like Maximilianus and showing through your devotion that the island’s wild souls are ready to run together once more.
Answer the call of the wild and build a herd that becomes your new family. As your sanctuary expands, you welcome up to eight companions beneath your watchful care. Each thunderous gallop across boundless meadows, every berry savored together, and every quest for cool water forges a connection stronger than any barrier.
When the human world tries to take your freedom, respond with stealth and unwavering courage. When humans threaten your freedom, answer with cunning and fierce resolve. Glide through moonlit settlements to shatter fences and liberate captive kin like Felix. Never yield - if someone dares to mount you, send them flying with a wild buck, showing that only the wind commands your spirit.
On your journey, you discover an unlikely companion: Ahuli, a wounded warrior whose spirit matches your own. Together, you help the island’s creatures, from gentle hay gathering with a creaking wagon to battling fierce fires to protect what matters most. This alliance, forged in respect, proves that horse and human can stride together toward hope.
Your hooves thunder across four breathtaking realms: from emerald forests and frozen peaks to the scorching sands of the desert. Hone your abilities, brave gathering storms, and ready yourself for the final battle for true freedom. As Storm, you become the island’s living answer to the call for liberty, your spirit echoing to the farthest horizon.

Since the rest of these reviews are bots, let me ACTUALLY review the game. Storm Horse Sim has a lovely atmosphere, and is very much HEAVILY inspired by the Spirit: Stallion of the Cimarron movie, and is pretty bright and colourful. I've DEFINITELY seen much much worse for an obviously budget game, but as with every and all games, there are pros and cons... Pros: - Nice movement/turning/jumping - Questing - Open world map/exploration - Grass stays down when you run over it - Swimming - HORSE Cons: - Horse models break in joint areas - Quests break sometimes - Amateur execution of storyline - Lack of life in environment - Goofy ahh ragdoll physics - Poor animations - Zero eyeball movement, meaning lifeless and depressed-looking horses/people - Zero customization - Hard to tell what a quest marker and a zone marker is - Runs super poorly - Graphics are really not great - AI FOR THE ARTWORK???? EW. - No sound alteration depending on what material you're running across - No expressiveness via emotes, horse to horse interaction - You lose your horseshoe points when you switch maps (unsure if you can swap between maps?) - You lose your herd when you switch maps (unsure if you can swap between maps?) Honestly this is a cute game, I would only really recommend this to young kids though since the controls are easy, the colours are bright and graphics are something kids don't really care about. Other than that, I would definitely wait for a few months or years until there's a substantial update for this game's optimization, graphics, and bug fixing. It's a good start to a game, especially for a new dev or solo dev, but generally this isn't a brilliant game and I really don't recommend it in it's current state 1 day out of release.

Build Your Wild Herd - it's what the description says. And you really do that. For about 10 minutes. And then you spend the rest of the game being a taxi for an Indian, riding from one point to another and kicking random NPCs. But what I didn’t like most was the fact that the horse talks to all the people it meets, understands warfare, negotiations and other stuff a horse should not care about. The game had great potential at the beginning, but unfortunately, it’s one the few horse games that I didn’t like and will never play again. Overall, the game reminds you very much of a story of a very famous horse. If you know, then you get it. Even the mare looks the same.
I'm unsure how this game has the positive review score it has at the time of writing this. The models are cute, if you can get past the eyes never blinking and being placed weirdly forward on the horses head (they're depicted with the vision of a predator instead of a horse. It's... a weird choice for a game targeting a community that loves horses). It's not just 'heavily inspired by' Spirit SotC, it's a direct ripoff but with lazy writing. The tutorial and the first horse you meet are the only 'herd building' you do (and you don't keep the horse from the tutorial) and you spend the rest of the game replaying the Spirit story but sloppy. You meet an indian-fill-in NPC, then you do just about everything with them. There's no real exploration or herd building. It's 'go from point a to point b and do this task. and talk to humans while you're at it.' I'm pretty sure the voices are AI and given how sloppy the writing is I wouldn't be surprised if the story was AI too. I don't recommend this game, even to kids. It's just... It feels more like a project a student game designer/ developer would make for a class. Not something that should have been published.
As another said, it feels like a very basic, lackluster student project than an actual game. There's no herd building other than like 10 minutes in the tutorial and it isn't a simulator of any kind. It's clearly a lazy ripoff of Spirit. There's no actual exploring, especially since the world is almost entirely empty. I spent the entire game just running from point A to point B and back again with no actual engagement or mechanics of any kind. The colors are a little too bright for my taste and I greatly dislike the horses talking to humans and understanding human concepts for some bizarre reason. I really don't recommend this game at all.
i didnt read previous reviews before buying but it uses AI which is really just lazy and unacceptable. aside from that, despite more than meeting pc requirements, its so laggy and the loadscreen between quests and areas literally takes like 5+ minutes which is an issue i dont experience even with super demanding horse games like LoK. im disappointed, to say the least
O melhor jogo do Spirit...
Honestly, I had a pretty good time with Storm Horse Simulator. The graphics really surprised me — there’s something about the overall look of the game that I really like. It has that old-school simulator vibe that instantly brought back some childhood memories for me. It’s not a perfect game, of course. There are definitely a few things that still need some work and polishing, but nothing that seriously gets in the way of actually playing and enjoying the game.
a very atmospheric game, reminds me of childhood. Great graphic details, ambience. I'd try more similar games like this one.
