For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 24 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,419 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

SteamWorld Dig 2 is a strong and well-executed sequel that expands on everything that made the first game enjoyable. This time, you play as Dot on a mission to find and rescue Rusty, which gives the adventure a more personal and narrative-driven feel. The biggest improvement is in the gameplay depth. There are more mechanics and “tools” to experiment with, which makes exploration and progression feel richer. Instead of just digging and upgrading, you’re constantly discovering new ways to interact with the environment (especially the jet engine). Quality-of-life improvements stand out as well, especially the teleport system, which is smoother and more accessible (I love the 'teleport to the last area' feature!). It keeps the pacing tight and eliminates unnecessary backtracking, letting you focus on exploration and puzzle-solving. Speaking of puzzles, they are noticeably more diverse and thoughtfully designed. They break up the core mining loop in a meaningful way and often require you to combine your abilities creatively. Alongside this, the game introduces new characters and hidden secrets, giving the world more personality and rewarding players who like to explore thoroughly. I like how the caves are now ticked 'complete' only when you have found all the secrets in them. The challenge is also stepped up. Enemies are tougher, and boss fights are more demanding, which adds tension without feeling unfair. It’s a natural progression in difficulty that fits well with the expanded mechanics. Despite all these additions, the game maintains the series’ hallmark compactness (at around seven hours to complete). Overall, this is a great sequel, polished, richer in content, and a worthy continuation of the story.
Muy bueno
One of my favorite games of all time. Great story, amazing graphics, awesome music, creative upgrades, interesting storyline. I used to play the first game as a kid, so the SteamWorld trilogy has a special place in my heart. I wish the could have a bit more bosses, and slightly more difficult. Also, it's sad that once you kill the boss, you can't continue playing, because I always want to get all upgrades and discover the entire map. Except for that, 10/10 game!
