A masterclass in atmosphere, storytelling and voiceovers. I never tire of reading the scientists` logs and piecing all the info together. Absolutely play this if you love 90s style pre-rendered animations
Alright. So, I would not have played this without a walkthrough. I could not intuitively understand what to do and ended with more guesswork than I have time for. It was not the puzzles, but the order of which character to progress with. That being said, the story told here almost made me weep which is the highest praise I can give to a video game. Also, I really liked the visuals, the sounds, the atmosphere. Voice acting was splendid. Thumbs up.

For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

This game could be great but the puzzles are many times idiotic and messed up. I am and old-school point & click gamer but I kept being stuck, being unable to find what to do (not stuck with puzzles on HOW to do it). The cool atmosphere is ruined by being frustrating many times. It made me do something I never do: stopped playing, uninstalled and went to watch a no-commentary playthrough video instead to see if the story at least was worth it for all this 15 hours I've lost for this game. And no. The story didn't make up for it. No proper ending. Overall I say it's lacking in all the most important areas. PS: I loved the free game of theirs.
While the last third is somewhat weak, the game overall felt like a solid book. Also the only game with so much screen time given to a knocked out shrimp.
Statis: Bone Totem is a atmospheric, gruesome, violent experience that also manages to be deeply heartfelt at the same time. The characters and voice acting are exceptional, the story is interesting, and the puzzles are generally well signposted without being overly simplistic. I suspect this one will stick with me for some time.
Fantastic atmosphere so far! Brotherhood at their best!
5/5 for Atmospheric Horror and excellent story. Like mixing Lucas Arts' The Dig with The Thing.
Molto interessante
All in all, it's a great game, although some puzzles feel unfair and annoying.
Recommended. Plays great on Deck. There a couple places where there could have been a bit more guidance on puzzles. Using three characters is interesting, if a little tricky. I think they made it work 90% of the time. I enjoyed the story. Oh, and I recommend going ahead and doing things that you know will get you killed: each death has its own cut scene that I thought were worth it.
