Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 2.14/day in the week to Aug 14 → 6.14/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 25 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 10 places towards #1, and the 2,413 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Squad up, grab your Morita Assault Rifle, and reclaim vast planets from the Arachnid threat. In this fight, survival isn't guaranteed, but service guarantees citizenship!
The Bug menace is spreading. Retake and rebuild strategic bases, construct refineries, and complete high-stakes objectives to wrest control from the swarm. With massive maps featuring unique environmental hazards—from the blinding sandstorms of Valaka to the volcanic hellfire of Agni Prime—every mission is a desperate struggle for humanity’s future.
Up to 16-Player Co-Op: Coordinate between your squads to defend objectives, gather resources, and build the ultimate fortress.
Strategic Base Building: Use the refined ping system and building tools to erect walls, towers, and ammo stations in real-time.
The Carnage System: Experience the visceral reality of war as Bug corpses pile up, creating persistent physical terrain that changes the battlefield.
Intense Class-Based Combat: Master six distinct classes, each with deep progression, unique weapons, and specialized perks.
Dynamic Environment: The Bug menace is not the only thing you’ll have to contend with. The game features a time of day and dynamic weather system, which can help or hinder your cause.
The Ranger (Assault Infantry)
The Ranger is the premier boots-on-the-ground combatant, built for speed and agility. Equipped with a specialized jetpack, Rangers can rapidly traverse the battlefield to scout objectives or execute hit-and-run strikes. They excel in close-quarters combat, utilizing a versatile arsenal to keep the swarm at bay while maintaining high survivability. Whether flanking a Tiger Elite or rushing to a distant refinery, the Ranger’s mobility ensures they are always where the fighting is thickest. For the Trooper who wants to stay nimble and lethal, the Ranger is the ultimate tip of the spear.
The Sniper (Marksman/Recon) The Sniper serves as the eyes and ears of the Vanguard. Utilizing jump jets to reach high vantage points, they provide unparalleled reconnaissance and long-range fire support. Armed with the Morita XXX Sniper Rifle, they specialize in neutralizing high-priority threats like Plasma Grenadiers and Gunners before they can decimate the squad. The Sniper’s role is critical for identifying incoming waves and ensuring the team isn't blindsided. By perching atop mountains of dead bugs or high ridges, they can turn the hostile environment into a hunter's paradise, picking off Arachnids with surgical precision.
The Demolisher (Explosives Specialist) When the swarm becomes an impenetrable wall, the Demolisher breaks it. This class is an expert in all things explosive, trading subtlety for raw, area-of-effect destruction. Carrying a heavy mortar system on their back and a variety of grenade launchers, they can evaporate entire packs of Drones and Warriors in a single volley. The Demolisher thrives in high-pressure sieges, using their "Watkins Trigger" to clear out bug-infested zones. They are the heavy hitters necessary for holding the line during extraction, ensuring that no matter how many bugs arrive, they leave as green mist.
The Guardian (Heavy Defense) The Guardian is the Federation’s foremost defensive juggernaut. Clad in hardened armor plates and wielding the Morita MK3 SAW, they are built to anchor the frontline. Their core ability, Siege Mode, allows them to hunker down, increasing defensive stats and weapon stability at the cost of mobility. This makes them human turrets, capable of suppressing massive hordes while protecting more fragile teammates. If a base wall falls, the Guardian stands in the gap. They don't just kill bugs; they hold the ground that the Federation has paid for in blood.
The Engineer (Support/Logistics) The Engineer is the master of the base and the backbone of logistics. They are responsible for building, maintaining, and repairing the structures that keep the Vanguard alive. Engineers repair fortifications faster than any other class and can deploy specialized tools like flamethrowers and mines to create lethal choke points. Beyond construction, they manage the team's resource flow, ensuring ammo stations are stocked and defenses are reinforced during the heat of battle. A good Engineer doesn't just build a base; they turn a simple outpost into an impenetrable fortress of death.
The Medic (Support/Healing) Whenever a Trooper is down, the Medic is there to save the day. Equipped with a Medical UAV drone and stim-launchers, they can provide critical healing and long-distance revives even in the middle of a chaotic firefight. While every Trooper can perform a basic revive, the Medic does it faster and more effectively, keeping the squad’s combat effectiveness at its peak. They are the glue that holds the 16-player team together during prolonged missions, ensuring that every Trooper makes it home.
The Carnage System introduces a revolutionary persistent body system where defeated bug corpses no longer vanish. As you slay hundreds of Arachnids, their bodies pile up, creating literal mountains of gore, which can either be a help or hinderance, depending on the situation.
Gameplay Impact:
Dynamic Terrain: Dead bugs have full-body collision. These piles create new ramps that allow living bugs to climb over your walls, or provide Troopers with new high-ground vantage points.
Obstacles: Piles of corpses can block your line of sight or obstruct your path to extraction, forcing you to use explosives to clear the landscape.
Strategic Realism: You must manage the carnage. Ignoring a massive pile of dead bugs at your gate might give the next wave the perfect staircase right into your base!

Tough sell... I like the movie a lot, and this looked interesting. But in reality, this game feels like an early-access game. It's simply unpolished and has bugs (No pun intended) -The single player mode, albeit understandably simple, really just feels like mobile game quality. They're short and overly simplistic. I understand the meat of the game is the multiplayer, but this ain't it. -Mission 15 kept making my game crash to desktop, so I could not progress the single player missions anymore. -Menu's are buggy, suddenly keep booting me into the main menu when backing out of a menu during class customization. -Visual customization is absolutely bare bones. -Visual glitches in customization -Guns and player model look low-poly in the menus. (look just fine during gameplay) -Ally and enemy AI are terrible, often just standing still doing nothing -All SP missions so far pretty much take place in the same looking cave systems -Game looks noticably worse than in the screenshots -Changing your loadout's gun, and then swapping back to an old gun makes the game forget all the attatchments you had on that gun. So you have to re-customize your gun EVERY TIME if you choose to put it back in your loadout again. This is just pathetic... Game design 101 when creating loadout and gun customization... -Multiplayer, albeit a bit better, has some good chaos, but also some bad chaos, and it feels like everyone is running around like a headless chicken doing their own thing -Shooting bugs most often feels way less impactful and satisfying than you'd hope for I really want to like this game, but I just can't. There's a good base foundation here, and it could have had great potential. But this really should have just been an early access game. I'm not going to play this anymore unless I actually hear that all of these massive issues were to get fixed, but I doubt it...
This game was great at first but they have ruined it. Firstly the game ran better at launch compared to now. The game just constantly crashes on both singleplayer and multiplayer. 2 years worth of updates and its only gotten worse. I keep coming back hoping something has changed but it never does unfortunately. The devs seem more focused on adding things than they do fixing the issues they already have. The amount of problems I've had its just not worth it in my opinion. I'm not crapping on the game entirely however. When the game does work properly (Maybe 20% of the time) its fun and i do enjoy it. I really hope the devs decide to pull there heads out of whatever puddle they have it in and fix the game so its actually playable. I'm sorry but I'm not able to recommend something so broken in its current state.

Bought it after release. It's been through some rough patches but it's getting better and better. I think the dev team is quite small and it takes time for them to "smash the bugs" and improve the game. It's a fun game. There are several gamemodes, although I think the most liked ones are ARC defense and Horde. If you want something that doesn't require too much tactical thinking you can jump in and just shoot the bugs as they come. You get a nice selection of weapons for that. Althout it can be played mindlessly, it's always better when people play together, help each other, especially the important classes like Medics and Engineers. Now that Marauders are also in the game, additional teamplay is also needed to keep them repaired and resupplied so their operators don't have to get out and load the machines themselves. But I think it's not a huge thing to ask, if you see a Marauder dishing out hate towards the bugs to just grab some ammo and resupply it. They are still tinkering (as of April 2026) with Arachnid numbers and what the servers can take which means you may encounter severe lag spikes. I don't really know what's the actual reason behind them because in one game it's awful then the other is smooth as butter. But if you experience lagging bugs, just look at your ping, if it's fine then the problem is not on your end. If the lag bothers you too much, join another session or wait until the next map rotation (every hour) and most of the time the lag will stop. PC specs are not too high, there were some optimization issues before, but nowadays it runs pretty well on my 7 years old potato pc. Tinkering with the settings might be needed if you play on older system. Wait time is on the longer side depending on when you play, it can regularly take up to 5 minutes to put you into a game, but it's worth the wait in my opinion. So yeah, recommended. Also, don't forget: "Service guarantees citizenship." :)
I like that it's a different 'grunt fantasy' from games like Helldivers. instead of small teams of 'elite' troopers, you are a true grunt, reliant on a large number of allied players to both succeed in the missions and keep you alive. It's very 'the floor is lava', if you haven't unlocked the skills and abilities to be on the ground, you better be up high, or you're just another dead trooper. :)
True to the movie, fun classes, maps and missions. The sheer magnitude of bugs is an experience in itself. My favorite part is building a smart base and watching how my teammates utilize it, or watching how it holds up after a massive breach. Highly recommend for Starship Troopers fans and general PVE, FPS, base building fans. Also, with the correct in-game upscaler my NVIDEA 1060 3GB runs fairly well on low video settings.
As a long standing fan, I am utterly disappointed. The fact that the DEV's have moved on and abandoned this game despite the crazy amount of bugs and crashes is astonishing. Dont get it twisted, THIS WAS A MONEY GRAB No my PC is not the issue I have a 5070 with i9, 4TB SSD with 128GB RAM I'm certain the game is the issue
It's just a buggy mess, low fps, rubber band issues, extreme lag. Plus it is mostly dead now, if you're lucky you might get a match but be prepared to wait 10+mins for a 15mins match to be booted back to main menu when it's done and repeat over and over. Classes are kinda boring, same with weapons, you get like 4 per class but it mostly boils down to this gun shoots trash but has high ap or this gun shoots fast but with low ap, tried them all and none are satisfying to use. The regular machine gun seems the most normal and fun to use without long reloads or small clip size or some other drawback that just doesn't make it fun to use. The engi has a fun flamer but most people just use the machine gun or explosives. You will rarely have a Co-op experience, in my 38 hours of gametime i have not once seen or heard anyone chat, or have any type of support for others i.e reloading mounted guns or revives. It's kinda just a free for all. You might get the odd decent medic here or there but its far and few between. Also the whole dlc cosmetiic thing is kinda scummy, Took a look and seems like a waste of money, you wont see the cosmetics in game really nor will other people unless they stand right next to you and stare at you, which no one does so probs a waste of money. Same with stuff you can unlock in game, you can get different coloured visors or helmet stickers but its really hard to see in game so why bother. I wanted to like this game and i kinda do still but i cant recommend a dead and broken game.
