Starsand Island

Zuerst bin ich gar nicht mit dem Spiel warm geworden: Man wird anfangs überrannt mit Quests, es fühlt sich sehr mmo-ig an (unendlich viele zusammenhangslose Belohnungen, Rabatte (Ingame Währung), übertriebene Kawai Ästhetik. Statt wie sonst üblich fängt man nicht mit dem Farmen an, sondern es wird empfohlen mit der Karriere "Craften" zu beginnen. Hier würde eine atmosphärischere und langsamere Einleitung ins Spiel Wunder wirken. Dadurch bin ich auch erst sehr spät mit den NPCs warm geworden. Was mir nun nach einigen Stunden doch gefällt: Die Spielwelt hat eine gute Größe, nicht zu groß, nicht zu klein, abwechslungsreich genug. Wenn man sich nicht hetzen lässt, ist es sehr entspannt, besonders im "Dungeon". Es gibt nur wenige Gegner, diese bringen ein bisschen Abwechslung rein, aber nerven nicht. Es gibt viel zu entdecken und viele kleine Überraschungen. Das Tiersystem ist bisher das beste, das ich von solchen Spielen kenne: Sie müssen weder rein- noch rausgebracht werden und sie sind auch recht schnell zufrieden, man muss nicht jahrelang an denen rumstreicheln. Es gibt einige ungewöhnliche Farmtiere und Fortbewegungsmittel. Das moderne Setting gefällt mir nicht so, hat sich aber relativiert, wenn man ein bisschen mehr in der Umgebung und dem Dungeon unterwegs ist. Es gibt sehr viele Möglichkeiten, Gegenstände, sich selbst und die Farm zu individualisieren. Freundschaftssystem und Angeln sind ebenfalls nicht so nervig wie üblich. Es lässt sich sehr viel selbst herstellen und bisher zumindest brauche ich nicht, wie in vielen ähnlichen Spielen zig mal die gleiche Werkbank bauen. Ich freue mich auf die nächsten Stunden.

Someone compared this to a worse version of My Time series and I couldn't agree more. I am leaving positive review because I believe in you devs (I REALLY DO PLS DON'T DISSAPOINT ME) even though the price for this game in the early access state it's in right now is... Well, not great. Firstly, I love the graphics. The game is cute, cozy, makes me feel right at home and the customization is amazing! There's sooo many clothes, creatures and plants but even though the world is beautiful it's also empty. There are the shops of RNPCs, sure, some other stuff, but nothing really is happening here. I don't think this game needs some big, dramatic main storyline, but there's simply not enough content and the content that is there is very irregular. For example, I am basically finished with the moonlight forrest, have the Expert Explorer badge and all and it's 6th of Autumn :x While we started at 1st of Summer. Idk, the progress just feels kinda wack, too fast, too easy, and doesn't click with other kinds of progress (like not really being able to craft the advanced fish bait for the traps so I had to just fish for all the damned 60 fishes in Senior Angler test, ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥). There's also the NPC and while I LOVE the female designs, literally three of the male NPCs look like the same person in a slightly different font. There's also not much personality to them or quests or story. I like Delph the most because at least he's giving us SOMETHING, both in design and story. I reaaaally really hope the devs are gonna add much more content, especially to the NPCs, and it's the only reason that I'm even putting my time into writing the review (I don't do that much). Just, ugh, PLEASE, I love both Aurelis and G but they are basically the same person while Syl is just a plain unsalted cracker. Oh, also the building mode is really tough imo. Not the decorating but actually BUILDING is exhausting. But pls, keep going, I love the game despite the complains! Good luck!
